I have personally worked with Dr. Karl Hyde for many years which has enabled providing pediatric dental care under general anesthesia for many children. He has a gentle manner which helps the kids feel comfortable. He is dependable and humble. His knowledge and practice of providing anesthesia care are top-notch. I highly recommend him!

Karl Hyde has the worst bedside manner of any anesthesiologist I’ve ever met. He didn’t even introduce himself to me or my child. He was completely condescending and rude from the first moment. When I asked normal basic questions, he got frustrated with me and attempted to avoid my questions by asking “Why do you want to know?” As if I wasn’t intelligent enough to understand his answers. It felt obvious that he lacks confidence in his abilities as an anesthesiologist since he refused to entertain the most basic questions from an informed and curious parent. We walked out of our appointment because it simply didn’t feel like a safe environment for my child. M2 is refusing a refund as well. Don’t waste your money or energy. Dr. Hyde, you should go ahead and retire too. Your behavior today caused trauma, and you should not be working, especially with children.
