Flawed Communications lead to Delayed Treatment
She used to be in top form until she merged into a large practice that does not allow private (one on one) visits. In several a man sat in the corner with a phone, which made me uncomfortable. Each time I go the diagnosis is different. Doctor won’t use email. Too many people are involved in subsequent communications. Last time, I didn’t get the right prescription and condition recurred. I had to go elsewhere to get the necessary help. She also calls around to other doctors after the patient already has provided that information. There is no trust here and plenty of craziness, instead of a proper diagnosis and treatment.

Disappointing for sure. First experience, 5 stars. 6 if I had them. Dr. Linthicum is smart, really listened and laid out all of the options for treatment. Something I've yet to find a dermatologist to do in a straight forward way, because easily acne - let's face it - makes people really uncomfortable. 2nd appointment, they didn't even book it! I show up and got no explanation or apology, and a whole lot of apathy. I do not recommend. It's not worth dealing with the rudeness with other staff.

Was disappointed in this doctor. Was given prescription for a cream that two other doctors (one of which was a dermatologist) subsequently told me should not be used on face. Also when condition worsened, Dr Linthicum suggested I go to a primary care practitioner to get prescription for prednisone (why she couldn't write it unknown), Also she transferred me to her nurse assistant when telephoned for additional instructions on handing my condition; the call went to voice mail, without return.
