Dr. Karin Doehne, MD

I've been seeing Dr. Doehne for about a decade now and can say, without reservation, that she is an excellent doctor. Very thorough, compassionate, engaged, and helpful (without ever coming across as judgmental). Takes her time with the annual physical. Overall excellent; highly recommend!

Dr. Doehne has been my PCP for just over two years now and she's the best I've ever had. She is the first PCP I've been able to trust fully. She listens when I speak and lets me be actively involved in decisions about my care. I've always been able to make an appointment when needed and she is prompt to reply to messages left for her. She has been a major factor in the improvement of my life/health.

Dr Doehne is a well-trained intelligent clinician who is empathetic and welcoming.

Dr. Doehne treats the whole patient. She is such a good listener and really cares about her patients, My husband and I have been her patients since she arrived in Falmouth, We use My Chart to communicate with her She always answers promptly. She is an excellent physician. Dr. Doehne always makes sure you understand her instructions. We leave appointments knowing she has given us her full attention and best advise.

Having seen many, many doctors and specialists throughout the years I have to say Dr. Doehne is one of the most compassionate, understanding, and caring doctors I have ever had. I never felt rushed during my appointments and she always took time to actively listen to what I had to say. I cried during appointments several times due to frustrations with my health/life, and she always listened and cared very much. She is a wonderful doctor and one I will never forget.

She is okay but refuses to help with pain management. After 4 years I’m excited to find a different primary care

Callous comments to a depressed patient was unprofessional. If she didn't know then she had not listened. She's young and hopefully will grow to have compassion and learn to listen better.Her office experiences chaos because of frequent staff turn over. Partners have a quota to meet which doesn't always benefit the patient.

Asked for MEDICAL OPINION at 5:04 one evening we were told the office is CLOSED and Dr. doesn't want to speak with you.Went to the MMC and tick removed. Next day an e-mail from Dr. said "WE'RE NOT A WALK IN CLINIC" "you're behavior last evening was unpleasant if you care to continue here you will need to sign a good behavior form" Beside that insult office manager called and lied repeatedly.Got her information re the situation 3rd hand. Dr. admitted manager wrongly spoke.DAMAGE done.!!!!!!!!

She could show more interest and compassion for the holistic care of her patients. Hopefully that will come with years of experience. I would not recommend her for Senior Citizens. She guards her privacy which is not a bad thing, but only contact her 8-5 , not a minute later.

Dr Doehne is a very compassionate, very knowledgeable physician who truly cares about her patients. She listens and understands and takes time to make me feel comfortable with what the next steps toward getting better will be. I highly recommend Dr Doehne!
