Dr. Kari Hopfer, DO

This doctor was extremely rude from the start. She performed a biopsy for me I had scheduled at St. John hospital in Tulsa. She acted like she didn’t want to do her job and tried to talk me out of biopsy “because my tumor was small and didn’t meet size criteria.” (My tumor was only 3mm smaller than recommended size for biopsy but had all the indicators of malignancy therefore my ENT ordered the biopsy). When I advised I wanted to proceed with my doctors orders she huffed around aggressively while doing the procedure. I spoke very kindly to her to try to soften her interaction with me but she was rude and aggressive the whole time. She also referred to the nurses assisting her as “girls.” This doctor is in great need of training on being kind and respectful to patients and staff.
