O Stars
I was looking to switch over my PCP to someone in NYU Langone as I would like all my doctors to be connected and have access to my chart...with that being said I saw Dr. Rhee. At one point in our conversation I said to her ' are you getting aggravated' as she was getting aggressive in her tone. I was genuinely confused at this aggression as I'm the one who has been experiencing dysphagia for 6 months after seeing almost every doctor across various fields. She barely listened or showed any concern. I would think the main function of a PCP is their office visits and this was not a pleasant one. She was very obnoxious and condescending when I mentioned primary care can order testing for the neck area as if it was completely unheard of when I've had a NP ordered a CT for neck in the past (I wanted her to order an MRI). Oh and as far as a PCP checkup, she did not bother to check anything. Once upon a time doctors were actually helpful and she does not exude this. I would not recommend her!

Not sure what happened with this doctor, very cynical and at times, hostile, with a mixture of moments when she tried to be helpful. Confusing and difficult to understand but I ultimately did not feel comfortable with her as my PCP due to such variations. Maybe other patients will have better luck.

Fine if you like condensing doctors
She is a robot, seems to give off an an air of because she's a doctor she's better than you, came in with a cold she gave me zero recommendations on how to deal with it, my other doctor recommended me see a doctor for flu shot in my family planning schedule she also refused and told me to come back in the fall to get it, when I was told to make sure I'm up to date in the conniving stage. Would not go back.

Dr. Rhee is warm and compassionate. As a first time patient for an annual checkup she took all the time to learn about my health and lifestyle. Very pleased!

Disappointed
Patient beware: I was a loyal patient until she started to demand that I undergo some tests. I went for to a cardiologist although I had no heart problems because she insisted that I should be able to walk up 2 flights of stairs tirelessly. The cardiologist thought I was crazy for seeing him. The last time I saw her was about a blood test result showing my anemia. I’ve had lifelong anemia and although count was too low to donate blood, it wasn’t so low. She refused to sign a form unless I made an appointment to see her. I told her that I wasn’t okay spending time and money on an unnecessary visit and told her that she can tell me her concern on the phone, she refused. She only contacted me through her receptionist. I left her and have never looked back.

Worst PCP
Have had her as a PCP for a year. I had chronic and new issues and she would not provide any care directly. Always referred to other doctors. Would not provide any medication for emergency situations.
