Long wait times to see your own doctor, I mean months. If you need to reschedule an appointment you will be punished with an even longer wait time. No family could use this place for normal things that come up let alone something more serious. Sorry you have to wait many months to get in. No online access to your health chart or doctor either. They really need to update like other doctors offices to make themselves more available to their patients. Even referrals are done the old way through someone else that also is backlogged. Referrals for labwork are a constant issue with Medicare and not a good diagnosis code provided to show the labwork is needed. Making me have to fight bills because the correct codes were not used. Going to your primary doctor should not be so hard to do nor stressful. Yes, Dr Lau is really nice and they do spend time with you but the whole experience is not, what good does that do when you do not have access to your doctor?

Dr Lau is an excellent primary care Dr. My wife and I have been Paints for 15+ yrs. She always takes the time to explain why we have an aliment. couldn't be more trustworthy of her treatments and diagnosis. Yes the wait time is sometimes long but worth seeing Dr. Lau.

I came in 12 minutes late (mentioned over 3 times by the front office) due to an injured player I was attending to on the baseball field. All of my paper work was filled out and I had my UHC info up to date online and in hand. I was initially told I was 12 minutes late and that the wait is over 45 minutes. I used the restroom and when I came back the rude front office girl said we have to reschedule you because you were 12 minutes late. I asked what happened to waiting and she said I was 12 minutes late and Dr. Lau is busy. NO ONE in the waiting room, i saw the sign in sheet and glanced over the counter, no one scheduled. Complete power trip on the front office and good doctor teaching me a lesson for being 12 minutes late and wasting their time. As I took back my insurance card and ID, the front office girl said in a stern voice, you were 12 minutes late and what did you expect? I didn't ask her for a response...RUDE. Plus when asked why it was $100 for an office visit when we clearly have a health check visit included in our policy, "That's just how we do it." Is it a copay or coinsurance? No that's just what we charge. By the way, I am a sport injury doctor myself with my own practice. In my 20+ years of owning my own practice, we have never turned someone away for being 12 minutes late on a Thursday afternoon at 3pm. Unbelievable.

Dr. Lau is an excellent physician. She is intelligent, informed, encouraging, she listens carefully and gives advice without coercion or guilt trips. My husband and I are very happy with her. She has been my primary care physician for over one year.
