Great people!!

I was extremely happy with the experience of my visit! I am grateful for the confidence I have in Dr. Lane and the medical staff in the office. However, I would like to mention my concern when I arrived at the check-in waiting area. I was disappointed by the lack of cleanliness, especially in a cancer center. The waiting area was littered with empty water bottles and several crumpled up used tissues. I mentioned to one of the girls that the area needed cleaning. I was told they weren't responsible for the area, the janitorial staff cleaned it on a schedule. It felt yucky and my concerns dismissed.

When my appointment was scheduled last fall, I was tinsel Dr Colluzzi after seeing Dr Lane. He left the practice in January. I called the office and was told that I would see thr new oncologist in that time slot. However, on Monday I learned that Dr. Lavasani is not in on Mondays, so the first appointment I could get with her is on April 30, two weeks later. I feel that the practice should have called me to reschedule my original oncology appointment rather than my having been caught without an appointment I needed to review medication. I am very disappointed in this lack of administrative follow through. This does not impact on the excellent care Dr Lane provides.

Dr Lane and all the staff/providers here are so caring, professional, knowledgeable and just the BEST!

Having just been diagnosed with breast cancer, I was in a very vulnerable place. The staff who worked to schedule my appointment were absolutely incredible - so accommodating, responsive, and gentle. But unfortunately I was really disappointed with my visit with the doctor. She made me feel like my cancer was too boring to be worth her time and told me about all of the complicated cases she'd worked on. She made me feel like I was being dramatic and she was in no hurry to treat me. She left the room saying, "let me know if there's anything else I can do for you," like she was a waitress instead of a doctor meeting with someone who had been diagnosed with cancer less than a week before. I was very uncomfortable.
