Dr. Karen Kennedy, MD

Karen has no time for her patients. She's always overbooked, it seems. I've never waited so long past an appointment time before. Over an hour? Seriously? And then the appointment is just as rushed. There's no real care given because she just wants you out so the next person can be in and then out. In and out. In and out. I asked so many questions and was never given a real answer. Just quick responses with no actual information. The final thing for me was when I called to seek help after a medication she prescribed worsened my depression to the point that I'd made a plan and was ready to act on it. Her office never called me back. They left me to fend for myself. The suicide hotline is the only reason I'm still alive. If you have any mental health issues, stay far away from this office. They won't take the time to help you when you need it.

My main concerns were getting my tubes tied, testing for PCOS & low libido. I mentioned these over & over again. The only thing they did is quickly state I don't have PCOS but do have thickened uterine lining- no follow up, no information on it, etc. Just mentioned it & left. When I brought up my low libido, the nurse actually asked me if I'm single why I cared. NOT KIDDING. I explained I was married but, regardless, what does that matter? They completely ignored any of my questions on getting my tubes tied -for reference, I'm in my early 30s with 1 child. I found out this Dr is very prolife which may explain the dismissal of my tubes tied/libido issues. Regardless, the Dr & nurses provided next to no information, were incredibly dismissive & the Dr in particular, seemed completely uninterested in any of my concerns. I only did 4 appointments with her before leaving. It was a total waste of time & money.

I see Laura Sigler and just love her! The staff is wonderful. I highly recommend this practice.

Love this office and the one in Navarre. Everyone is so nice and Dr. Kennedy addresses all issues and ensures you understand. They are very prompt and efficient as well which makes life so much easier when you have a busy life.

Dr. Kennedy discovered and diagnosed a problem that another doctor failed to find. She has given me several options on how to proceed, so the decision is up to me with her advice. I appreciate that. She is very direct and answers all my questions without being condescending. Also, her staff and nurses are outstanding caring, compassionate, and kind. I highly recommend her. I feel like I'm in good hands.

Worst experience ever!!! Dr. Kennedy has ZERO compassion...I waited over 45 minutes on the table for dr Kennedy to come in for my appointment...(Note I was a new patient and prior to my appointment I had filled out multiple questionnaires about why I made an appointment) she had no idea why I was there she said she was running behind when she entered the exam room ...so she asked me why I was there so I told her briefly my concerns... Dr. Kennedy had no interest in anything I said she didn’t even listen to me at all!!! She seemed completely distracted kept rolling her eyes and didn’t seem to have any knowledge period!!! I left there in TEARS as I patiently waited several weeks for that appointment hoping to get answers and reassurance about my health...I GOT NOTHING but 5 MINUTES OF PURE EMBARRASSMENT AS I ADDRESSED VERY PRIVATE ISSUES with a doctor that couldn’t have cared any less... I’m completely disgusted and would NOT recommend Dr.Kennedy for ANY care.

I have been seeing Dr. Kennedy for the past 6 years. When I first started seeing her she was very attentive and compassionate, as time has gone on that has all but disappeared. The last time I saw her I was complaining of sharp pain and her response was "are you eating well? Exercising? Drinking water? Low sugar/carbs?". I understand that eating well and exercising is important and can affect vaginal health, but if I'm concerned that my IUD has dislodged I'm going to assume that drinking water is not going to fix it and I would appreciate my concerns to be addressed. It has been like this every time I have gone in now and I have all but given up trying to address issues I have and only go in for my annuals. Now I don't even get the option of seeing her I am always referred to her ARNP, even when I have expressed concerns I would like to speak with the doctor about. The office runs behind quite often but they are friendly and kind. It just isn't worth it anymore.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Kennedy. I have been a patient of hers for 10-15 years.

I WALKED OUT - Was made to come in 30 minutes before my scheduled time, when my time to be seen came and I asked how long of a wait I'd have (since the lobby was full), I was told that the Dr. had 2 patients in rooms and a bunch of charts to update, so I'd have to wait a minimum of 45 minutes! Sorry Dr. Kennedy, our time is just as valuable as yours. I should have listened to the reviews, but since referred I thought the reviews were wrong. IF YOU HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO DO, make this your doc

Dr. Kennedy was very professional and friendly. This was my first visit on 3/26/19 and I found her staff extremely friendly, the office very assessable and Dr. Kennedy very thorough and knowledgeable. I will return.

I had my first appointment today with Dr. Kennedy. The office staff was very friendly and organized. I knew I made the right choice when a woman in the waiting area told me about her success with Dr. Kennedy. Dr. Kennedy was very thorough and pleasant. She spent a good amount of time going over my issues and formulated a plan to help me feel better. I’m am really looking forward to working with her.

If you are looking for a doctor who is warm and friendly...who will listen to you and offer understanding, this is NOT the doctor for you. She acted like she knew me better than I know myself. She also acted as if she knew what was right for me, when she had no clue about who I am and what I need--and she never took the time to find out. In my opinion, she is very scientific, offering no compassion. She would rather be "right", than be human. Note: Her staff is wonderful!

Dr Kennedy has been my Gyn for 16 years. She had taken such good care of me in all phases of my womanhood. I had a hysterectomy 6 weeks ago and all questions were explained before and after my surgery. The staff have always been very attentive and caring whether in person or over the phone. I highly recommend Dr Kennedy.

I love Dropbox. Kennedy she goes the extra mile to make sure that all of your concerns and questions are answered. She is the best Gynecologist that I have ever met with and her beside manner is spectacular.

She refused to do a c-section on me after two days of labor and two hours of pushing. My child was born dead and had to be resuscitated for three minutes. She then held the birth file for months and altered it before releasing it. I wouldn't recommend this doctor to my worst enemy. Horrible!!!! My child now has a growth issue in her arm.

Dr. Kennedy was on call when I was a patient in Gulf Breeze Hospital in 2011 & I count myself blessed for that. I have been a patient ever since. Her unending patience & caring is a rarity. She gives me vaginal injections every 6-8 weeks & also referred me, back in 2012, to a manual therapist, Ruth Jenkins of Manual Therapy, & I wouldn't give either one up. Like any doctor, she sometimes runs quite late but to me, she's worth the wait. She's gone above & beyond with me.

Have been seeing Dr Kennedy for seven years and absolutely love her and have referred many patients to her. Two years ago I saw PA as Dr Kennedy was running behind. This year they automatically put me with PA without asking. I will certainly address this when I make my next appointment.

I made an appointment with Dr Kenedy for my yearly, when I arrived the nurse wanted me to see the ARNP instead because Dr. Kennedy was running late. I explained I had some things going on and I really prefer to address them with the Doctor. Barbara informed me that I will need to make another appointment to discuss my concerns and that even though she is examining me that is not something that insurance will cover for my visit since it is a yearly follow up.
