Dr. Karen Hurwitz, MD

I have found Dr. Hurwitz to be among the few internal medicine specialists who truly stays cutting edge in her knowledge of the field. Whereas many doctors I have used seem more like clearing houses where the doctor just wants to dish me off on another specialist, Dr. Hurwitz cares & always stays up on my medical condition. I feel that for most of the illnesses that my family needs a doctor for (diabetes, pre-diabetes, hypertension, etc), she is as up to date as any specialist & follows up!

I have been a patient of Dr. Hurwitz for several years. Dr. Hurwitz is a caring and extremely intelligent doctor. She is very professional and goes out of her way to give personal care to each of her patients. Her staff is extremely helpful and kind. I highly recommend her.

Unprofessional office - Had a confirmed appt as a new patient and 10 minutes before I got there, was called and told that the doctor did not realize I was on her schedule and I cannot be her patient since I had known her from many years before. I would not have minded if they told me a day or 2 before, but 10 minutes before the appt was annoying and cost me a day off from work. And many of my friends that know her as I did, actually ARE her patients!

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, SHE IS ALWAYS AVAILABLE TO TAKE ME IN WHENEVER I CALL. MY ENTIRE FAMILY NOW USES HER ONLY. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME IN THE WAITING FOR A DOCTOR JUST CALL KAREN SHES THE BEST.

Dr.Karen Huriwtz is an excellent doctor with an incredible bedside manor. There is never a long wait yet she takes her time with all of her patients. When you are sick you are always able to get an appointment that day. She makes sure she answers all of your questions and takes her time explaining everything until you are comfortable and knowledgeable of any issue or concern . If you are looking for an amazing doctor I highly recommend going to see Dr.Hurwitz.

I do not recommend Dr.Hurwitz to anyone. The people who work in the office are nasty, I have to call many times until someone answers, and there is no communication. They tried billing me for an office visit they said they wouldn't bill me for. This office has lost important papers I gave them. I don't think Dr.Hurwitz is personable or has a great personality. Go somewhere else.

Dr. Hurwitz is a caring, compassionate and devoted physician. She makes her patients feel comfortable,and is sensitive to both the patient's emotional and physical well being. She is my family's physician and we couldn't be happier with both the Dr. And her office staff. I am truly grateful and appreciative towards Dr. Hurwitz for taking care of my family's health care needs. She is a physician par excellence!

I have been a patient of Dr. Karen Hurwitz-Fuchs for at least 5 years. The office is very well run wait times are short. Dr. Hurwitz -Fuchs is extremely thorough both with her physical exam and taking the time out to review all my labs. She gives you the attention that a patient deserves answering all my questions. She is an excellent doctor and I would highly recommend her.

Dr. Hurwitz-Fuchs is a wonderful doctor. She is very caring and thorough when it comes to taking care of her patients. I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes past my appointment time. Her staff is wonderful. They are very polite. Roseann is very knowledgeable and sweet and always willing to help. I have been a patient of hers for over 10 years. If I'm sick, she will see me right away. I would highly recommend Dr. Karen Hurwitz-Fuchs to all of my friends and family members. SHE IS GREAT!!

She has Been my physician for 12 years, although when there are many emergencies I may have waited more up to 30 minutes . In general I am seen within 15 min or less of my appointment. I never feel rushed and I appreciate her knowledge and judgement.

I was made to wait over an hour and a half to see my Doctor of over 15 years. I have never had such an awful experience in my life. I could never recommend this doctor to anyone I care about. Her staff clearly missed the be polite memo and repeatedly cursed so the waiting patients could hear them. Yes Roseann, we all heard your lovely, yet clearly limited use of vocabulary. This office has not only lost me as a patient but I fully intend to let everyone I know about my awful experience.
