Dr. Karen Gould, MD

Very disappointed in this office. After being a patient for over 16 years and referring many family members, I was told when trying to schedule an appt that I am now considered a new patient because I hadn't been there in a few years (mind you, some of this time was during Covid when people were not going to drs and I had no medical issue to make an appointment ). Because I recently voiced my disappointment and questioned this policy, they sent me a dismissal patient letter with nonsense excuses as to why they were NOW dismissing me after their office HAD already told me specifically that there were no issues other than I had not been there in a few years, and I was considered a new patient and Dr Gould is not taking new patients and it's a "policy of their office". Apparently, if you voice any issues or concerns, the office has a good excuse to get rid of you as a patient !! I only voiced my disappointment AFTER they told me I could no longer be seen as I was now considered a new patient. This is unbelievable considering how long I was a patient of Dr Karen Gould. Now that she is overloaded with patients, she can discard you. Apparently, this office does that to many based on reviews we read. The office staff is clearly unprofessional in handling of matters with their patients.

I would definitely recommend Dr Gould .. she is very through and professional! She takes time to listen to your concerns and addresses them.

Dr. Gould is top notch. I've been seeing her nearly 16 years and have always felt well cared for and pleased with my experience. Her nurse, Karen, is like icing on the cake. I wish she still accompanied Dr. Gould during skin checks.

Dr. Gould is very professional and caring. She examined me from head to toes and explained any areas that I questioned. She found two precancer areas and removed them quickly and professionally.

Dr Gould is an excellent Dermatologist. She truly cares about her patients and their well being. She takes the time to listen to the issues and concerns of the patient and account for their concerns. I don’t feel rushed in her office and am confident I receive excellent care.

If you’re looking for a dermatologist where the patient can advocate for themselves or be involved in their treatment, then this doctor and office is NOT for you! You WILL do what they say, or you WILL be dismissed from their practice. I left feeling like my questions were annoying, & unanswered. When I expressed that I felt more comfortable in a seated position for my blood draw, I was told that I didn’t have a choice, I needed to lay down, or they would not perform it! ?? never ever again!!!

Dr. Gould is just all around wonderful ! She is smart, kind, and caring, everything you would wish for in a doctor! Her staff was also wonderful to me! I would, and do, recommend her!

Best of the best. If anyone doesn't Love her, there's something wrong with them. It doesn't get any better than this!
