I have been seeing Druzak for 25 years. She has been amazing, delivered all 3 of my kids. She saved my ability TO have kids(her old partner wanted to put me on birth control to reduce a cyst, that would not have helped it since the cyst was in the lining of my tubes and twisted multiple times). There are times when I feel rushed in the appointment but if I just speak up alittle more, she will slow down and listen more. I highly recommend Dr Druzak

Her advice caused me years of pain. When I was a teenager, I started having painful periods. I told her my concerns and she told me to fix my problems by taking ibuprofen (which I was already doing) or get pregnant. I was shocked she would tell someone so young to get pregnant. I ended up in the ER due to extreme pain and an ultrasound showed fluid in my abdomen. They told me they thought an ovarian cyst ruptured and to follow up with my obgyn. She told me she thought I was fine. I switched doctors after I told her I couldn't live like this anymore and she brushed off all my concerns. My new doctor has been amazing. I had to see Dr. Druzak recently for a yearly wellness because my current doctor was unavailable and she asked how I was doing on the new meds and I told her all my symptoms resolved. All she said was 'great, glad to hear.' Like she had any part in it. She could've started me on it but never did. Living with chronic pain for years left me traumatized. Do NOT recommend!

Find a different GYN
Because of how poorly I was treated at this office I left all my drs who are in the Endeavor health system (Edwards Elmhurst) switched to Northwestern Medicine. The dr was rude and hardly spoke to me. She gave me no chance to even tell her why I was being seen. I was seeking care because I had been sexually assaulted. She left the room before I had any chance to ask questions or have my concerns addressed. She clearly did not care about me as a patient or a person. I told the nurse who found me crying in the exam room what had happened, I was told I could make another appointment. I attempted to call and email the system (Endeavor) she practices in and received no response. I would not send my worst enemy to this office or this doctor.

Regretful Experience
I regret having seen her. Her manner in approaching the appointment was ice cold. I was absolutely mortified after seeing her. There was no humanity in her whatsoever. Her questioning of my symptoms felt like an interrogation. It was almost as if I was on trial to prove whether or not I had the condition other doctors have indeed confirmed I have. She did not even pretend to be interested in what I had to say, much less if I had any questions. It was as if I was an experiment that she was analyzing and had unilateral control of. I had no agency whatsoever in the conversation.

Pretty good
She was helpful, informative, & nice. Only downside was during my visit & interaction with her, I felt a little rushed. I couldn't elaborate or felt I couldn't ask questions because she would quickly move on to the next one.

Great experience
I had a very nice experience with Dr Karen clinic, starting with the nice friendly lady on the front desk, through the very nice lady who prepared me to see Dr Kare, she was very nice and helpful, to the wonderful Dr Karen herself, she was calm, patient, nice, very professional, Knowledgeable, listenedtomecarefully, and make me feel comfortable during the visit. She gave me all the information, and advices. Overall, everything were great, the place were incredibly clean, and organized, and the people were very nice and helpful. Thank you so much.

I have never been more disappointed with a provider. I felt uncomfortable and unheard throughout my whole appointment. It was a very rushed experience and would never return. Anyone looking for an OBGYN avoid Dr. Druzak at all costs.

I felt like I was on an assembly line Of patients. This was my 3rd and last visit. She spent maybe 10 minutes with me as I’m crying about the last 3 months I’ve struggled with anxiety and perimenopause. She Wrote out names of stuff for hrt on a paper hand towel, patted my knee and left the room. No other options discussed. I felt no compassion or concern over the physical and mental pain I was experiencing. Please take more time with your patients to listen and help. I felt so discouraged when I left that day.

Very rushed. I looked at the notes and realize the md did not even take down my prior pregnancy history correct and I am not worried about the wrong treatment plan.

She congratulated me when she walked in. I'm not pregnant, I had to tell her! "Oh, I don't know why I said that," she retorted. (Maybe you're in the wrong room, lady!) She focused on her own agenda not my questions. She told me I had an issue but didn't tell me anything about it! "Take Miralax," she said. She didn't even tell me how much! I had to Google the issue when I got home so I knew what I was really dealing with. When she told me to get dressed and come out, she was GONE! Papers sat on the counter which I didn't even know were for me. She slapped another paper on the counter and walked away again! She stood at the end of the hall with her back to me. She wasn't busy! What were my next steps? I was able to make an appt with another dr because I was left with an issue and no real resolution. Two days later I had an appt with Dr. Aguiar who LISTENED to me and discovered I didn't have this issue at all! Don't go to her!

Dr. Druzak was rushed and uncaring. After explaining why I was there, her first words were "the cysts are nothing, you can get dressed, we don't need to do anything today." No tests were given, no questions asked except why I was given a scan, no examinations. If there is nothing to worry about, why was I given an emergency ct scan and told I need to see a gyno as soon as possible? I wouldn't recommend this doctor to anyone, she clearly does not have time for questions or for helping her patients understand what they are going through.
