Compassionate Caring Doctor
I have been seeing Dr, Cadet for 13 years and have found her to be competent, friendly and very compassionate. She spends sufficient time educating me on my condition and medications. She is always concerned about me as an individual, and ensures that I receive outside referrals when needed. She goes above and beyond and has even called me at home when needed.

I went in after moving states for 2 years but having been with OSF for nearly 20 years. She didn’t listen to any of my concerns about my medication and instead acted like it was all my fault and refused to actually do anything for me, instead choosing to refer me out to different departments even after I told her I can’t miss a ton of work. She made me feel horrible, and I am switching hospitals completely. Instead of just telling me to go on a diet, she should have listened to me. I will never recommend her and will never go back to OSF.

She just really wasn't nice, repeating herself, she looked like she was tired, and unkempt, like ashy, I felt bad for her.

Dr Cadet-Saintilus is thorough, kind, professional and competent. She has tended to our family through lunch hours and even after business hours. She politely answers questions and always details why she needs to perform tests. Many people think their google search equates to a medical degree but they are sorely mistaken.

She has NO bedside manner! She referred me to a specialist without actually having a conversation with me, I found out when that office called to see up an appointment. She talks AT you, not with you. I prefer to have a doctor who gets to know a little about you and cares enough to want to help you as a person.

Dr Cadet prescribed Aspirin to treat gout. I had to explain to her that Aspirin raises uric acid levels in the blood and cannot be used to treat gout. Thank you Google. She also randomly suggested some blood tests unrelated to any symptoms because certain deficiencies are common in this area. I have never once received a call back from this office or been given results without calling them to ask.

I feel like her level of care is similar to urgent care -- if you need to know if you have strep throat or an ear infection she can handle that, but anything beyond that she wants to send you for lots of tests or expensive specialist appointments. This has happened multiple times to multiple members of my family. She's friendly, but just won't seem to answer many questions herself.

Extremely rude, unhelpful, does not explain anything, no bed side manners. During my appointment me she made it very clear that she did not want anything to do with me as a patient by telling me that she could only speak to me for a few minutes because she still needed to take her lunch break.

She ran unnecessary tests on me when I said I didn't need/want them, and didn't explain what tests she was giving me. I later on saw she gave me ANOTHER thyroid test as well as two other bogus blood tests that I didn't need. I just had a thyroid test two years ago and I'm young and not showing thyroid symptoms at all. I didnt even go into the doctor for these symptoms. She also doesn't listen, and put me on medicines that I didn't need. She over prescribes and over tests for her extra big payday
