I am a registered nurse of 20 years in the Cardinal field. Dr. Ayoub replaced my ICD generator on September 1st 2023. 8 weeks later I got a frantic call from him asking me to come to UK as my icd leads were misfiring. This required a second surgery on 11/9/2023 and Dr. John Gurley found as he was trying to remove the leads the problem was that both leads in my heart had been cut and damaged by Dr. Ayoub on 9/1/2023. The second surgery was necessary because of his mistake. One that I cannot accept. He’s a great person, he has great bedside manner and highly intelligent. However he risked my life with his recklessness. I’m not okay with that. I trusted him completely and it almost cost me my life.
