Valley Fever Diagnosis
Dr Asbury found my problem when others were trying to figure it out. I had a severe case that morphed into Pnuemonia. She sorted it out and put me on a daily med that cleared it up almost immediately. I stayed on the regimen for a few months and now it's completely gone. For me, she and her team performed extremely well and I am very appreciative.

Telehealth
Dr. Asbury diagnosed my Valley Fever and told me what to expect going forward. I have teleconferenced with her twice and she answered all my questions and agree with her planned course of action. I think she is wonderful and very straight forward which I like.

Wasn’t even in the building and never called back
Took two weeks going back and forth to get an appointment with her. Never saw her when I arrived because she was not even in the building! I was forced to see her assistant only who only gave me worst case scenario. She also never called my physician back after nearly a dozen outreach phone calls. Avoid this doctor

She jumps to the most negative conclusions about your healthcare, and doesn't care about your mental and emotional well-being. When she messes up, she doesn't apologize, but makes excuses for herself and talks about how much she's caught up on the research. If you are sick, she doesn't celebrate improvements, but talks about how behind you are from the rest of the normal population. It's almost like she relishes in how weak you are in your illness and how much she knows. Her staff isn't friendly and I would not recommend, period, but especially if you are ill and have a long way to go. Run. Run the other way; there are a lot more competent and compassionate physicians out there more knowledgeable about infectious disease and COVID-19.

Wow! What can I say. I have been under multiple physician's care in the valley over the past 20 years living here, specifically "Infectious Disease Specialists". No one can compare to the astute care and compassion that Dr. Asbury has provided for me when NO one else could figure things out. She is the best doctor I have ever had. If you need expert infectious disease consultation, there is no one in the valley that can do it better! Thank you Dr. Asbury!!!

Dr Asbury is highly respected by her colleagues and as the family member of one of her patients- I cannot say enough about her compassion and her thoroughness as a physician. I am a physician and naturally I am highly selective about my family’s care. I wish we could clone Dr Asbury. I am sure she saved my fathers life by the dedication to his challenging disease and her heartfelt desire and personal sacrifice to heal. Love her!!

I have never been treated so poorly by a health care provider. I was referred by my cardiologist. When I called they needed to review my records before scheduling my appointment (fair). The records were sent the following week. I asked how long it would take to review and they said a few days. After waiting a month, I called back. They said they are "still reviewing my records" and would call me by the end of business day. They didn't call. I called the following morning to be told that they will not see me because I did not have an active infection. I have been suffering this whole time can could have sought out care by another provider over a month ago. As a fellow health care provider and a former healthcare administrator, I would have never tolerated this lack of follow up and and empathy for patients.
