I was diagnosed with a bizarre spinal injury. Dr. Lee was there every step of the way. He even gave us his personal cell number. Very intelligent man and is an expert at what he does.

Had a craniotomy for tumors, Dr lee is a great surgeon and he is friendly he explained every thing in details. I was blessed when I was referred to him. I have two adult children and he reached out to them before and after surgery. They have the same feeling about him. GREAT DR

“Dr” Lee was on call during a visit my father had at Hackensack Hospital due to bleeding in the brain, and he did not allow my mother the time to call me to discuss the status of my father due to her language barrier. He was extremely dismissive and never visited thereafter even after multiple requests to speak to him regarding next steps and current status of my father. May he experience the same helplessness with a loved one to help him develop some empathy. I have always had a deep respect for the medical profession for the enormous amount of good they can do, and this person puts the whole profession to shame.

My father was struck by a car, therefore had to be taken to the emergency room in Hackensack hospital. There, Dr. Lee performed craniectomy and saved his life. Several months later, he performed cranioplasty as a follow up necessary procedure. Both were successfully done. A really calm, knowledgeable and easy to understand who answered all of our questions in our hard times. We would highly recommend Dr. Lee.

Had a procedure done by Dr. Lee and never saw him afterwards. Had an appointment with him and was halfway there after coming from two hours away and got a call that the appointment has to be cancelled. Was scheduled to see him again and the appointment was cancelled. I asked three different staff members to leave a message for him to call me and he never did. I don’t know the results of my procedure and it’s almost two months already. This is not how a doctor should treat a patient.

I had emergent surgery done by Dr. Lee at Hackensack hospital. I had severe back and sciatica pain. Dr Lee performed a microdiscectomy and the next day I was able to walk without pain. It is now about 3 months since my surgery and I am pain free. Dr lee and the staff at Hackensack hospitals were very courteous and helpful throughout the process. I continued with follow up care with Dr Lee and his office and he takes the time to answer questions. Thanks to Dr Lee-I am not pain free

Dr. Lee saved my son's life by performing emergency brain surgery after he was rushed to the hospital following a motorcycle accident. Dr. Lee also performed a crainioplasti surgery several months after the original surgery to replace his skull which had to be removed at the time of his injury do to the brain swelling and bleeding

Our family had a terrific experience with Dr. Lee. He came to the hospital in the middle of a terrible situation where he was asked to take over for another surgeon. He did it with calm and extreme professionalism. He did not subject my husband to the torture of having to redo all the previous tests. He explained everything in language that we understood, without talking down to us. The surgery was a success and my husband is a changed man. Thank you Dr, Lee.

Dr. Lee is a great surgeon. Seems like all of the good ones have unique bedside manner. as I laid in the ER, he said "I wouldn't be here if it weren't serious." Ill take an odd personality if it means seeing a top notch doctor. once things calmed down he explained everything in detail which was reassuring.

I would highly recommend Dr. Lee as he is a professional and knowledgeable surgeon. This past spring I was admitted to HUMC and diagnosed with a sub-dural hematoma after a head injury. His recognition of my rapid decline prompted an emergency surgery that saved my life. My recovery went well under his care. He took the time to answer all my questions in terms I could understand. I am very fortunate to have had Dr. Lee as my neurosurgeon.

To Whom It May Concern: Dr. Lee is a competent, professional neurosurgeon. The procedure I had was an anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (C3-4, C4-5, C5-6). Prior to and after my surgery, Dr. Lee spent as much time as I needed to answer all of my questions and concerns. My pain level has decreased noticeably after my procedure. He is a wonderful surgeon and I highly recommend him. Sincerely, Karen Mitnick
