Dr. Kamlesh Desai, MD

Dr. Desai has treated me for a long time. . Each time he’s been gentle kind and solved my physical problems without problems afterwards. I feel lucky, fortunate and honored to have him as a doctor. His office is terrific. Especially his nurse.

Dr Desai was incredibly kind and patient with my 7 year old daughter when she broke her thumb. He explained everything very thoroughly and helped us to make the best decision so that she fully healed. I highly recommend Dr Desai.

Excellent Doctor. Kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and caring. And he listens!! Have recommended two friends to him and each one felt the same. All feel he is a true professional and lucky to have him as their doctor. One was quickly diagnosed, evaluated as necessary for immediate surgery, which was scheduled & done within days. She is now walking better than the past 8 years and has a new life in her. She claims that when she awoke from surgery she felt no pain, was up walking in hours and only needed aspirin during her recovery. I saw her at her home a week after the surgery and found her moving pain free more than I had seen her in 15 years. (& her prior 2 surgeries held her in the hospital 5-7 days each, with 2-3 weeks of physical following. With Dr Desai she went home the next morning and just kept going.. he is amazing

Dr. Desai has been my doctor for over 20 years. He replace my hip 15 years ago and I have never had any problem with it. I have seen him for other problems as well and he always takes the time to discuss everything with me. He treats me with respect and as an equal partner in my health care decisions.

Dr. Desai has done three surgeries on my right leg for me, including putting my leg back together after a motorcycle accident. He is compassionate; clear and concise in direction, action, and instruction; and he listens well to his patient. He is the best in the triple cities. I would have no other surgeon.

I didn't meet Dr. Desai until the day of surgery, but the surgery went very well from what I can determine so far (3 weeks in). But I will be honest, the office staffing is a little to be desired. Very unorganized and in-efficient. Never notified what time the surgery was though I was told the date.. I didn't find out when the surgery was until about 2 hours before. Took 3 days to verify they received a fax. The PA misquoted hours of sugeries. Many more issues not listed..

Dr. Desai takes the time to speak with patients about their medical condition and the treatment plan while giving patients all the available options for treatment. Excellent bedside manner. Wonder staff- his nurse Amber is attentive, kind, and has a lot of experience. Both Dr. Desai and Amber are two of the best medical providers ive ever been treated by. Excellent care at Orthopedic Associates, I highly recommend them, very high quality care and patient oriented.
