My kind of doctor
I’ve been seeing Dr Engleman since Sept 5, 2022, after receiving a diagnosis of Psoriatic Arthritis from a now retired doctor. She concurred. She has been empathetic, took time to listen to what I had to say and let me make decisions regarding treatment after I Liston pros and cons. I trust her completely and heed her advice. She hasn’t steered me wrong in any way. I can talk to her freely without being rushed. She also treats my wife. I would highly recommend her.

Do not recommend
Unfortunately, my one appointment with Dr. Engelman was not only unproductive, but it set me back several years on getting the correct diagnosis. During that time, I continually lost my health, had to fight doctors and the medical system to look past her diagnosis to find the correct diagnoses, lost my ability to work, and therefore lost pretty much everything. I had brought a very detailed timeline of my health history with me; however, she interrupted me stating she was only allowed to spend 20 minutes with me. Many details in her report were inaccurate, she failed to include important information, but included irrelevant and non-factual information that had no medical relevance. The diagnosis she gave is known as one that some doctors give as a catch all, when they aren't going to take the time to establish a correct differential diagnosis and is not one that is actually treatable. I do not recommend her at all.

She's a keeper
Dr. Engleman is a breath of fresh air in these days of negativity and hate. She is pleasing, helpful, smart in her field and answers my questions in language I can understand. I am 72 years young and I have seen many doctors in my day and Dr. Engleman is a keeper.

A caring powerful woman
I truly look forward to seeing this caring lady at each of our appointments.. in today's world you can't hardly find anyone truly caring, in 12 minutes they are looking at their watch. This woman has a heart the size of Texas and the soul of an angel. When everyone else just bounced me from specialist to specialist, she took the time to try her hardest and would not give up. Yep she's my Rheumatologist, yep I consider her a friend, yep you can bet your hiney I'd do anything in the world for her.If your not with her... your missing out.No longer a cow with a ear tag.. but instead a human with a caring provider.Simply the best there is.We've laughed.. in the beginning we cried. Yep she seen my hands and teared up. I'd be lost without her...

Forgot She Gave Me A Diagnosis
Overall I'm extremely disappointed with the quality of care. At my 1st appointment I was diagnosed with Raynaud's. A few months later I get a cancelation spot because my joints have started to swell. After 8 months of symptoms I was finally allowed to receive treatment. A week after my appointment for the swollen joints, I discuss test results with the nurse. I mention that my Raynaud's is worse, and the last appointment was so rushed I was unable to mention it. I get a call back, and apparently Dr. Engelman FORGOT SHE DIAGNOSED ME with Raynaud's. She wanted me to have another in person appointment ASAP. I was led to believe I needed more blood work, but no. I just got a possible prognosis and a referral to get an x-ray. This information could have been given over the phone, or better yet if she would have properly noted what she had diagnosed me with so I could gave had access to treatment sooner.

i have seen Dr. Engelman for years, I have no idea why people would go anywhere else for treatment, she is friendly and listens to my concerns every time I visit. Amber is also a very polite person and I enjoy interactions with her prior to seeing Dr. Engelman

Not an SLE doctor. I was emotionally distraught by this Dr and team. Very sad set of circumstances that complicated the experience. Handled very poorly! NOTE- Dr. Engleman is not listed as having any experience for treating systemic lupus eryithmatosis. Should have looked at that before going there.

Lupus patient-Horrible experience. She talks about supporting her patients and seems to be very compassionate. Her nurse, Amber, is a catalyst for drama and lacks compassion completely. I was diagnosed with lupus in 2012 by a different dr. Saw her once in July 2019 and had emergency surgeries, blood clot + appendicitis later that week. And a mass found on the CT scan in ER. I was seeking support to go back to work gradually and asked if I could be seen. Her nurse said she wasn’t available for 6 weeks! And since she had only seen me once and I was fine at the appointment so it was not necessary. So crying and begging got me appt the following week with a PA. Charts were missing meds. She had agreed to fill my prescriptions from my former rheumatologist (out of network with my new insurance). Hence, the switch to her. When it came time to fill the prescriptions she told me that she “would not” fill some of them because they were not the responsibility of a rheum DR. UNPROFESSIONAL!

I was not called about my new diagnosis...instead I saw it in an online portal with a letter that I she would prescribe me medications. I never received a call, nor a letter. I called two months later when I was feeling horrible and they apologized saying it was a mistake they never called me. Then they sent me a pamphlet about my disease. Needless to say I found a new doctor who explained in detail my illness and gave me a full examination. Dr. Engelman is friendly, but that's all I can say

I had to find a new RA doctor and I came across Dr Engelman. I was very happy with the location and I really liked her as a doctor. She comes across as a doctor who is listening to me . And also I have decided if i had to change my RA doctor (hopefully not) the other doctors in the group seem very capable

I am a new patient. I called her office and tried to schedule an appointment. I left a message and I received a return call within a few minutes. I explained that I was experiencing a flare up and was in pain. After speaking with Dr. Engelman, the scheduler found an appointment that afternoon. I've never had a better experience. Even at the end of her workday, she took time, gave a real exam, listened to my history with RA, and worked out a same day treatment. Total pro. Awesome staff!

I've suffered with RA for over 10 years now. I started seeing Dr. Engelman a little over a year ago. She has made a huge difference in dealing with RA. She really listens and is always up to date on the newest treatments. I drive 45 minutes to see her and it's well worth it.

She is a very good, she is does not make you wait along time, her staff is very good and a pleasure to work with and she is very through. I have found her to be very intelligent and concerned. I have had an ongoing problem for six years and she is the first doctor who has really made an attempt at finding the issue. I feel blessed to have found her.

Dr. Engelman is wonderful. She's young and very sweet. I am always eager to see her because she listens so well and meets all my needs. Being 19 with arthritis isn't easy but she helps me keep a positive attitude and gives me what I need so I can feel like a normal college student. Not only is Dr. Engelman fantastic, but the office staff is as well. They are always smiling and do great about finding ways to get me an appointment that fits into my busy schedule. I would reccomend her to anyone.
