The care and follow up that dr. Asif and his staff did was excellent; gave a feeling of care and concern for my well being.I have been doing follow up visits after my stroke and subsequent stent placed in my carotid artery.

Dr. Asif saved my life. That's not an exaggeration. I had a complicated cluster of aneurysms on my vertebral artery. I was told by other neurosurgeons at a university neuroscience institute that my stroke risk was very high, and they were unsuccessful in helping me. I was terrified. When I saw Dr. Asif, he gave me hope and explained how he would approach the aneurysms. Although my case was quite rare, it could be treated. He has a very easy way of explaining complex things, and he is a perfectionist in the best possible way! For my case to be successful, the device placement had to be precise. I was so lucky to find this doctor! I am further blessed that I had access to this level of care at St. Joseph Hospital which is near my home. The inpatient care was wonderful there. I know this doctor could practice anywhere he wants to go. It's so lucky for the local community that he chooses St. Joe's. It's rare to find such a highly skilled doctor who also knows how to speak to patients.

Dr Asif performed emergency surgery on me. My family was told that this should be done as soon as possible. The surgery was done, the clot was extracted. I am not experiencing any residual effects of a stroke that others have whose clots were not removed in an urgent manner. Dr Asif's skills were surely the reason I'm doing as well. My family, friends and I were certainly impressed with my results. His professionalism, and personal interest shone through. Presence Health would certainly benefit with more doctors like him on their team.

I was experiencing speech and general awareness difficulty and was brought to ER. Dr. Asif was called, and promptly ordered testing which located a blood clot in an artery in the brain. He then proceeded to perform a removal of the clot by angiography, opening the previously closed artery to a normal flow of blood, and eliminating all prior frightening symptoms completely. Myself and my children will be forever grateful to have been blessed with the skill of this exceptionally capable physician.

Dr. Asif saved my mother's life. My mom had an aneurysm that popped. He was able to thoroughly advise me and my family of what is going to happen. He is a young doctor but has great confidence. Absolute aces in my book!

Dr. Asif is great!! He rearranged his schedule for two days & gave my husband the excellent care he needed.. Dr. has always taken time to explain everything with us, show us the scans, & address any concerns we had. We are so thankful he was consulted. His staff is just as amazing. Cheryl NP and Deb MA were very helpful, in the hospital & office. They always took time to talk with us about anything we were concerned about & never made us feel rushed. I had brain surgery due to a colt he took care of it right away and continued to check on me the whole time and did what was in my best interest. Dr. Asif has performed the coil method of cerebral aneurysm over 200 times, and always successfully. I am glad he accepted me as a patient, even though I am 75 years old, because I am otherwise in very good health and have recovered well from the procedure. He was completely in compliance with my wish to have a pre-procedure endoscopy and colonoscopy to check the overall condition of my GI system, since I expected to be taking the higher dose of aspirin for a few months post-procedure.

After my wife's 10th day in the hospital Dr. Asif took over her case & diagnosed the problem the same day. He's a superstar in my opinion!
