Dr. Jyoti Mohanty, MD

Dr. Jyoti Mohanty is to be highly commended for the way he handles his work responsibilities. I can tell that he cares about his job and about the people who depend on him. Dr. Mohanty was exemplary as was his P A Jackie. His efforts and talents have contributed to my immediate needs and satisfaction. His office staff are nice, friendly and on top of things. I can’t begin to say how refreshing that is. I plan on posting this same review on health grades. His quick response, energy and enthusiasm are attributes that I do not take for granted.In essence I felt that he did an outstanding job.

I had an incredible experience at this office. I brought my grandmother along, and while our first visit had to be rescheduled because her primary doctor didn't send the correct referrals, the staff at Dr. Mohanty's office made sure that wouldn't happen again. This time, they went above and beyond to make sure we were seen that same day. Dr. Mohanty himself even came to speak with us, making us feel welcomed and comfortable throughout the process. I can't recommend this office enough—it's efficient, communicative, and very well-organized. You won't regret choosing them!

The hospital not too long ago not to do a follow up with the doctor cardiologist. Obviously I was hospitalized, and in fear.I reached out to my insurance company to find me a provider in which they were one of them. My insurance company even contacted them to confirm So I made my appointment, which is for a month after I was released from the hospital, to find out when I got there, according to them they called me so there is no call from them in my call log. I gave them my email no email sent.On my arrival, they told me that my appointment had been canceled, due to the fact that they don't work with my insurance. So now a month has passed, in which I could have scheduled it with another doctor if they had mentioned it at the point that my insurance contacted them, and I contacted them to make the appointment. I got to start from the very beginning.perhaps they see this everyday, but this is my first time having a deal with something of the heart considering. I am scared.

Dr. Mohanty does not return calls, he prescribes medication's that interact with other medication's that you're on drastically. He does not check to see if the pharmacology works with the medication. he put me on a medication that cannot be used specifically in a patient that has COPD or that is taking duloxetine. My blood pressure is out of control up in the 200s and he pays no attention. I'm looking for another doctor.

I am utterly dismayed by the negligent and unprofessional conduct of the staff at the cardiologist's office. Despite my urgent need to review CAT scan results, their lack of responsiveness and disregard for my concerns is completely unacceptable. The fact that I had to call the office several times, only to be met with sarcasm and ridicule, is utterly ridiculous. This level of incompetence raises serious doubts about their commitment to patient care.

Professes he would practice for nothing if needed! Dedicated, caring, highly skilled, provides his personal cell number. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Staff is top notch.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mohanty since July of 2008. My family has a history of heart problems. I ignored mine until I suffered a heart attack 7/29/2008. My main descending artery ( The Widow Maker ) was 100% blocked. I was in ICU at Good Sam and then transferred to Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center. It was there, Dr. Mohanty became my trusted Cardiologist. I had so many questions and was terrified. He took the time to answer ALL my questions, explain what he had done and WE discussed an action plan specifically for me. He helped calm my fears. He is experienced, knowledgeable, great bedside manner and makes me feel that I REALLY matter to him . He treats the whole person. We discuss lifestyle changes that benefit not only my heart health but my life. I see him twice a year and have for 13 years. His staff have all treated me with respect and made me feel important. I have recommended him to many friends. Who feel the same. I HIGHLY recommend him.

Since moving to Jupiter from Miami Beach, I had to find a new team of doctors. Dr. Mohanty came highly recommended and he did not disappoint. From the front desk to all of his staff, everyone was great. They were kind and most importantly very professional. Dr. Mohanty you were amazing!! You took the time to go over my history and you were very patient with me. Appreciated you more than you know. Thank you so much.

Rushed procedure (ct scan of heart) because he was running late. No sedative used because IV had a problem and he proceeded anyway against my wishes.

1. During the appointment after my grandmother’s hospital visit, I told him that one of the medicines he prescribed for her was causing her to sweat profusely. He told me that he was not a sweat doctor! I then replied, I know you are not a sweat doctor however she should not be sweating when she is just sitting and lying down in bed. He does not have the kind of demeanor that a doctor should have to treat patients. I guess I should have sat in the room with my grandmother and stayed quiet instead of asking questions and raising concerns about her medications. NOT!!! 2. My grandmother’s blood pressure was extremely high at 10 pm. I began to get her ready to go to the ER. I thought I would call the doctor to inform him about her blood pressure reading as I was going to take her. Needless to say I did reach the 24 hour answering service. The experience was awful! Rude and disrespectful! Never received a call from the doctor! If I could rate him with a zero, I absolutely would!

misdiagnosed serious heart condition. no follow up or interest in following the case. did not even looked at file and results of previous exams. patient passed away. stay away if you have a serious condition. also dirty place. dr picked at his nose while talking to patient!

He is very thorough, found ruptured cord in my Mitral valve that was not detected in basic Echo. Very easy to talk to with lots of information about my fix and referrals. He's a Fifth generation Doctor that actually talks to me directly Without typing information during my visit with him. reduces my anxiety level with his experience and confidence in saying I'll be better. :) See for yourself and you'll know there's no reason to go anywhere else.

After just one visit to Dr. Mohanty I was hooked =) On my second visit, for my stress test, everyone was so helpful and pleasant. Stephanie is a sweetheart and Larry is definitely a keeper =] Larry made me feel comfortable and at ease. He is very knowledgeable and is great with a stick, meaning he found my vein for the IV and viola he was done. My veins are very small and roam a lot but Larry had no problem, thank God. I would DEFINITELY recommend Dr. Mohanty and his staff =}
