Dr. Ziemba performed a procedure on me when I had kidney stones while pregnant. Other urologists did not feel comfortable doing it because I was pregnant but Dr Ziemba was confident and completed the procedure successfully twice (Thank God because I was in HORRIBLE pain). He was confident, caring, and professional!

Caused infection
While I'm sure he helps most patients, in my case he made several mistakes then refused to acknowledge them. During a routine biopsy he caused an infection. It happens rarely, but it does happen. The problem for me was that he didn't acknowledge that his medical opinion was wrong until faced with a third expert radiologist, all of whom agreed. Then he didn't follow my hospitalization enough to know that the first appointment post hospital was to remove the Foley catheter. Overall poor communication with me and seemingly with his staff.

If I could give negative stars, I would. The entire urology office is negligent. If you call with a question or problem, they never call you back. They either are too busy or don’t care- but they down right ignore you. Dr. Ziemba could potentially be a good doctor, but you never get a chance to talk to him directly.

He was over 30 min late and it felt like the Dr. was just going through the motions of a new patient appt. Follow up by him and his staff via the HUP portal is basically non existent and when you do get a response they never actually answer the question other than with something obvious (it hurts when I do this, then don't do that).
