Dr. Justin Tanner, MD

I had a terrible experience at the Montrose Regional Hospital (MRH).Late in 2023 I had to visit their ER at night due to a terrible pain from a botched PHN operation at Total Pain Solutions in Omaha (in June of 2023, different story). The MRH’s ER personnel pumped me full of iv drugs that didn’t help my pain level at all. They asked if I wanted to be transferred to a hospital room and since I was in so much pain I said yes.As per the attending physician, because of the ER cocktail of drugs, I started to retain too much urine. He informed the attending nurse, who proceeded to lift my gown and jam a urinary catheter in me, without any sanitary procedures and without telling me what she was doing and or going to do. However, she invited a nurse in training to observe without my consent. Yeah, great.In the afternoon the attending physician said there was nothing wrong with me and nothing can be done about my pain. I was immediately released.Avoid this hospital.

I feel very fortunate to have Dr Tanner as my physician. I have a rare medical condition and he understands my condition. He believes in trying physical therapy and always has time to listen to me and how I'm feeling. When I call office his nurse Toni always gets back to me on same day. He has a great staff and when I roll in office they always call me by name. Dr Tanner has helped me tremendously & I feel he is one of the best Drs. I have ever had here in Montrose.

Not thorough enough. We prefer the PA'S over Dr. Tanner.

Dr. Tanner has always been great at listening to my issues and making recommendations based on my opinions and research. He has a dry sense of humor, which I really like. I have been going to this office for 19 years since getting cancer and have never once had a bad experience with any of the staff. I believe that concern for their patients is a value at this whole office and for that I am appreciative. I have recommended Dr. Tanner to many of my friends looking for a new physician.

Tannner is rude, interrupting the man likes to hear him self talk. When it come to care ,test results are at the background.tanner staff is unorganized and goes out of scope of traning leading to my family member hospitalization icu. Choose any other doctor in my opinion
