Dr Ray is great. He listened to by points of pain. We developed a plan of action. Ankle has long term issues from a ski accident and this is approach is the best for me and my family. This visit was a referral from Dr Watters who has done both by knee replacements. Both knees are wonderful, no pain!

This is the orthopedic doctor you want to go to. He is highly skilled and great at what he does. He’s also caring and helps you through the whole process. He even talked to my nephew, who is an orthopedic surgeon, without hesitation, to help assure me that everything was going as it should. So, my story is I broke my ankle in two places and my foot in three places. Dr Ray did surgery on my ankle, putting in a plate and screws. It not only fixed my ankle completely, with no residual pain now at all, but the scar from the incision is very light, straight, and ultimately will not be very noticeable. My ankle feels just like it did before. He suggested we wait before doing any surgery for the foot and I have to say, I questioned that. But his advice was solid. I did PT, which I avoided at first, but it turned out to be more helpful than I imagined it could be. The breaks were in August. It’s now March. I have no pain and am walking normally. I highly recommend Dr. Ray.

He is a great surgeon and deserves all the accolades that he has received. His staff greets you with a smile and engages in conversations that let you know they care about you the patient. I cannot say enough great things about him. He is truly one of a kind and my family and I thank him for the care he shows our mom when in his care.

Dr. Ray is very personable and easy to talk with. Was able to see him the next week after visiting Raleigh Orthopedic Urgent Care in Holly Springs for ankle and leg pain! He injected steroids into my ankle joint and I didn’t feel anything!He is very much into trying all other available treatments before jumping to surgery! So far very impressed with him!
