Dr. O’Guinn explained pre-op, post-op and rehabilitation procedures very well during my consultation visit for my total knee replacement. He is very professional and Stivers to deliver the highest quality of patient care. My surgery went well with no complications. Good flexibility in my knee has restored with his surgery. My experience with Dr. O'Quinn wasn't good at all. Back in 2018 I passed out in his office because of his poorly ability to located a cyst I have in my shoulder. He was in take the cyst out and inject seraroids. Well, he stuck the needle too far and hit a nerve and he knew he messed up because of the shear shock of panic. I then passed out in his office and know I forever have back pain because I pulled a muscle when I clinched when passing out. I then went see a new Orthopaedic and he noticed I had a labrum tear, O'Quinn didn't. I trusted him to remove the cyst but he destroyed my back, everyday I live in agony because of him.

I’ve appreciated his thorough, thoughtful analysis of my shoulder Injury. Not quick to do surgery, but offered other options & collaborated with other surgeons to decide the best plan of action for my particular situation. I’m very please with his professionalism, attention to detail & expertise.

Dr. O Guinn replaced my hip, after giving me the first pain-free effective injection Ive had. The hip has recovered very quickly, strong and completely. He was thorough and answered all our questions. He has concocted an excellent anti infection cocktail and does not get wound infections. My surg tech husband wouldnt recommend anyone else for ortho. O Guinn is an excellent ortho who takes pride in his work.

He saw my father for a consult in Feb. 2020 and was thorough, respectful, professional, caring, and kind. He answered my father's questions. Although he couldn't specifically treat my father, he made some recommendations for next possible steps.

Removed most of my menicus in 2016, as another Dr didn't when he should have. Which would have saved me from ever seeing Dr O'Guinn. He's arrogant, rude, has an above average opinion of himself & doesn't follow up as a good Orthopedic surgeon should. Appts for injections were a 3 week nightmare because him & his staff couldn't code it so my ins would cover it, for 3 yrs! Caused me undo stress & anxiety. After 1 yr an MRI after I reinjured my knee showing grade 4 chondromalacia, he said I didn't have that. The pain I was in was apparently all in my head. I've never felt so discriminated against in my life. Have a new Dr that actually listens to me & treats me with some respect, something he's not capable of doing. He also lies. He said he was to going to set me up with a Dr for a partial knee replacement consult. Instead a month to the day after my last injection that I had every bad side effect from; I received a certified letter & he refused to see me anymore! Wish I fired him in May.

What a lovely human being--and a competent, caring diagnostician. I saw him today and was incredibly impressed. He really looks at the problem and the person and you can feel his empathy for you. Saw him about a hip issue and he was honest about my situation, but willing to work with me to do this in what I saw as my time frame. I feel lucky to have gotten him as a doctor.

Saw him as an emergency surgery patient. He and his work are the best. That's my only contact, was lucky to get him. The facility where he has privileges has the worst level of care I've seen in my 65 years. Doctors on other services ignored his recommendations, resulting in the possible destruction of his wonderful work. That will be possibly much to my regret.

Saw Dr. O'Guinn for the first time today and I'm So Impressed. Knee Replacement may not be the answer. I'm so happy to know he will look for other ways and problems that may be causing such pain. As long as I can put this surgery off the better I feel. So good to have hope for getting my life back

Dr. O'Guinn is a kind, caring, professional doctor. It is unfortunate that he is associated with the Presbyterian Healthcare System. The healthcare system is plagued with incompetence and complete lack of regard. Do not consult Dr. O'Guinn via the Presbyterian Healthcare System.
