My experience with the doctor was absolutely dehumanizing. I came in with post op bleeding (with a known bleeding disorder) & was not examined in any form (not my incisions, not my bleeding) I had repeated some information my care team asked me to repeat @ which time I was laughed at and was given a belittling, gas lit retort. I was given a clotting meds (thank god) tho he remarked my blood levels were fine, as if I made this concern up and I was also given 'strong pain meds' and discharged. NO ONE asking if i had a ride home, or someone waiting on me though I was given narcotics. I wasn't even shown the door the ED so I could leave.I was able to contact my Care Team at the Cleveland clinic who instructed me to go to another ED to have a ROUTINE pelvic exam for a commonly know complication from surgery. I followed those instructions and after having an ACTUAL exam by another hospital all together his neglect was confirmed and I did have a common complication that was treated.
