Dr. Justin Gilbert, MD

Had an appointment with Dr.Gilbert regarding my lower back pain, and it was not my best experience. Appointment lasted 7-8 min, and I got a fast recommendation for spine injection. I did not understand what was the exact diagnosis, as he left the room pretty quickly. When the nurse called to schedule injection , I begged her to ask doctor if before extreme treatment, he can send me for PT or Chiropractor , first . But the nurse said that the injection is all doctor can recommend. I decided to go for second opinion to CR Pain Associates, where the nurse practitioner spent 20-30 min to understand and explain a diagnosis , gave few good suggestions and after 3-4 appointments with chiropractor, the pain relief was significant. Dr. Gilbert office charged me over $380 for short appointment and no treatment or prescription.

I have been seeing Justin for a year with chronic low back pain and sciatica. After therapy and my holding out, I finally had a epidural yesterday. I was nervous which is expected but I literally felt nothing more than a little poke and pressure. He was extremely precise and made absolutely no small talk. My pain is down from a average 9 to a 1. Although everyone is different, I see no reason for anyone to fear this procedure with Dr. Gilbert. I respect his dedication to what he does and trust his judgement. A stellar result
