Dr. Justin Ellerbroek, MD

One visit, a biopsy and surgery to remove a squamous cell. No one likes having this done, but because of the kindness, efficiency and knowledge these people it's done. Medical practice at it's best. I'd send anyone to this office.

I come to Premier Dermatology for skin checks and a history of basal cell cancer (too much tanning when I was younger). They are always good at finding things early, and I trust Dr Ellerbroek's ability to find cancer before it becomes a bigger problem. They are also good at getting me in between visits if I see something I am worried about.

Doctor Ellerbroek helped me through a tough time with my psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. What I like best about his bedside manner is that he is no-nonsense and does a good job explaining the pros and cons of each treatment option. If I had more questions, he would always take the time to answer them without making me feel rushed. Most of my family comes to Premier Dermatology, and I will continue to recommend his office to family and friends.

We NEVER ACTUALLY saw Dr. Ellerbroek but did see his wife. She is remarkable. She is very approachable and was empathetic when we needed her. We are very happy with her though she is an assistant.

Dr. Ellerbroek is awesome! He is so friendly and knowledgeable. I felt very reassured about the procedure after he explained it to me. I will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommended. Five stars!

Very friendly and professional.

A very intelligent, compassionate doctor. He always takes the time to answer my questions (and I have a lot of them!). He has found and treated several skin cancers on me over the last 5 years. I give him bonus points for being able to get rid of my brown freckles and rosacea with his laser.

Dr. Ellerbroek did a great job helping me get approved for Humira for my psoriasis. It is an expensive medication, but once he was able to get insurance to cover it, it has been life changing for me. I am planning on wearing shorts this summer!

I have been a patient here for several years and have been very happy with my acne care. They put me on Accutane, which worked better than anything I have ever used previously. Because of my scarring from old acne, the doctor suggested trying micro needling several months later. I have done 4 treatments so far and although the scarring isn't gone, the pock marks are definitely smaller. This is the most excited I have ever been about controlling my acne. I am very satisfied.

A much needed resource for the community. It is nice to not have to drive to Iowa City to find a dermatologist anymore. Staff were prompt and organized. The DR spent more time talking with me explaining my problem than any DR i have ever been to before.

Friendly, and to the point. Very grateful they were able to work me in for a same-day appointment even though I am a new patient! A very positive experience.

A very bad experience with my 12 year old daughter and wart removal. I was told the removal would be 100% covered by insurance ( I checked with both insurance company and also clarified when made appointment AND while in ofc) but then received almost a 300.00 bill. Then he removed what wasn't even wart and it caused a huge scar. Most other warts came back or are now just big scars!! I called sevaral times about both issues... never received a call back. I would not seek treatment here!!

Misdiagnosed a common wart, did a "deep scraping" to remove. Charged my insurance for surgery (rather than a "scraping"). It's back bigger than ever.

I was seeing another "skin expert" in town for 2 years before I realized that they weren't even a dermatologist! I saw an ad for Premier Dermatology in the newspaper and immediately switched to Dr. Ellerbroek. His staff seems very happy and I have so much more trust in his diagnosis than my last "doctor".

Dr. Ellerbroek is always willing to take the time to answer my questions. I had a basal cell cancer removed on my arm and I see him for checkups twice a year. A+
