Community Urgent Care was AMAZING to me for years and years. I was one of the very first primary care patients they had. They weren’t doing primary then, but said I could come in early Friday mornings for it. I’ve been a patient since basically the beginning. Blake is wonderful and Doctor Cooke was my favorite doctor I’ve ever had. I loved them so much. Since Dr. Cooke doesn’t come in anymore the women in the office, especially the child at the front desk are out of control. I moved an hour away and continued to drive all the way there just for Blake and Dr Cooke. I hate that the “mean girls”employed there ruined a wonderful relationship I had with my doctors for so long. It’s sad they chose to pick on a sick disabled woman AGAIN today. The last five times I’ve been seen there I left in tears. Is that the kind of office you want to go to? Me either.

Dr. Cooke has been my primary care physician since moving to Alabama in 2017. Until this past year I would do nothing but sing the man’s praises both in his patient-facing attitude and his care. But something has changed. I’ve been calling for a month to get meds refilled. My pharmacy has been calling for 3 weeks. No response and no phone call returned. I’ve left messages about X-rays of my hip. No returned phone call and no results even though I cannot walk. I’ve called asking him to call me and am told he “doesn’t speak to patients but a nurse can call you.” When I went in last week to see him, I saw a nurse instead. With absolutely zero results with regard to my issue. I’ve never given a physician higher marks than I had for Dr. cooke in the past. But what happens when my husband has a stroke because no one at the office bothers to respond to a request to fill his blood pressure meds for a month? Sorry, Dr. Cooke. I am no longer a fan.

I had a Teladoc visit with Dr. Cooke. He was very easy to talk to, extremely nice, took his time, listened to me and genuinely wanted to help me. When I need another Teladoc visit, I will request Dr. Cooke if that is an option. I highly recommend him from my experience.

I was very surprised on my first visit. I thought I would be treated as another number but the staff was very attentive and Dr. Cook made me feel like he was my own personal physician. I have a PCP but will definitely use again for Emergencies. Thanks for taking care of me!

I started using Dr. Cooke about 3 years ago, for just colds and flu purposes, but about a year ago I made him my primary Doctor. He’s a great guy and a great Doctor, he actually listens to what you have to say and takes time with you and doesn’t rush in and rush out.

My wife and I have been using Dr. Cooke as our primary care physician for over a year now. I cannot express how incredible he is. He treats you as if he's your best friend. Very empathetic in regards to what you're going through at the time. My wife and I both agree he is the best physician we have ever had the privilege of being treated by. Would recommend time and time again.
