Terrible service! The reception desk and staff were late 45 minutes for appointments. When a lady complained about the wait, they made fun of her behind her back. When I confronted them that she was in fact right, they turned on me and canceled all my future appointments. No one has time for petty, middle school games! Just stay away from Coco's practice! There are much better offices and better doctors out there...

My mom had cataract surgery with Dr. Coco and we are very pleased with the results. She is seeing clearly for the first time in 15 years. Dr. Coco is an excellent surgeon and I will recommend all my family and friends to him for any eyecare needs.

Rude, lack of compassion

Dr. Coco and Team are Excellent
I had cataracts and chose Dr. Coco because the Hines Sight office had very successfully treated my husband. Staff were friendly, professional and especially thorough in explaining my lens options. Dr. Coco was good humored and professional, and thoroughly explained the surgery process and follow-up. On the day of the surgery, I felt confident. In fact, I was so confident that I had both eyes operated on at once. It takes a few days for the eye to adjust to the new lenses, but I was amazed at the quality of my vision immediately after surgery. Dr. Coco did an in-office tweak to resolve a cloudiness that is very common after new lens implants. It's been a few years since the cataract surgery, and I still couldn't be happier with my surgical outcome or with Dr. Coco and his team. Your eyesight is critical--get to appointments on time, don't take short cuts and follow the instructions you are given for recovery. It's worth every penny to take the best care possible of your vision

Not very helpful
Rushed through the exam and was not very observant. Had to seek other assistance for resolution.

Avoid this Surgeon
After surgery for a cataract I was left with a film in my right field of vision and eyes that do not work together. I was left with a huge facial bruise after the surgery that should not have occurred. Unfortunately the doctor who did my left cataract surgery retired. Dr. Coco took over. Dr. Coco's communication skills are poor. Based on my experience, his skills as a surgeon are very questionable. He first discussed a second surgery to correct my vision and then when I had a follow-up appointment he contradicted himself and indicated that a second surgery would be risky and not likely to improve my vision. He actually blamed me for not choosing the correct lens!

Patient & Thorough
Dr. Coco was patient and very thorough with me. His staff was kind and friendly. I was seen quickly. I would recommend him. I have seen many other physicians and optometrist. His office is the best. He gave me all the options for care.

Very patient and thorough. He is helping me decide what to do about a botched cataract procedure another doctor did on my right eye.

Dr. Coco's associates have ordered me the wrong contacts at least 3 times in the past 2 years. When you call to set up an appt. they either don't answer the phone or put you on hold for at least 10 minutes. I just sat on hold for 20 minutes to see if my contacts had shipped and no one answered. With this type of customer service, I don't think I want this type of person working on my eyes. Dr. Coco is not Dr. Hines, who had very high standards for customer service.

Dr. Coco undertook cataract surgery in both of my eyes. The right eye is satisfactory. However, he improperly placed the new lens in the left eye, twice. After the second error, he indicated that the only solution would be a very expensive corneal transplant. My vision has been badly distorted since the procedure. I have spent several months researching competent ophthalmologists in other parts of the country or other parts of the world to correct the mess that Dr. Coco made. I could never recommend seeing Dr. Coco for any procedure or treatment beyond simple optometry.
