Contrary to glowing references on this doctor elsewhere I am astounded this guy is allowed to take patients. he promised the world. had a plan, assured me that they would handle the details and insurance matters. One year later and nothing. no treatment, no returned calls, turned off ability to email them and turned off ability to leave a review on the OHSU site. Completely unethical and disgraceful.

Beware of OHSU in portland, OR – Jun 01, 2018
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Yoo?
I had a horrible experience with Dr. Yoo. Initially everything seemed good. OHSU is a lovely hospital and the staff was kind and helpful with my questions and concerns. I explained that I only wanted Dr. Yoo to perform the surgery. He said that was fine and I put my health and future into his hands. I discovered that he allowed the residents to cut in me and nerves were severed. Everyday I'm in extreme pain and have been left disabled. When I spoke with Dr. Yoo, he was irritated and cruel. Avoid

Seems nice at first, promises you the world. Had extensive spine surgery. Immediately experienced excruciating pain while in hospital. Leaves you in pain and doesn't care. 6 months later, pain has gotten worse by the month.

I had surgery -laminectomy and fusion 19 months ago and have never had pain or any sign of weekness, lifted 80 lbs of cement bags today . only pain was a small feeling on skin ,size of a cigarette pack, about one month ,no surgery pain or need for pain pills, Tremendous recovery
