Dr. Juliette Gibbons, MD

Dr Gibbons has been my OB-GYN for over 30 years. She is a very kind, compassionate, and intelligent physician and surgeon. She will listen and answers any questions I have knowledgeably and always explains things thoroughly. Dr Gibbons is somewhat reserved and quiet. (Don’t mistake that for cold or uncaring.) Yes, at times I’ve had long wait times to see her, but I have always trusted her with my care. Years ago after I had a post partum DVT with no PCP to go to, she referred me to and got me in to see her own PCP who was not even taking patients. (Another excellent doctor.) It was the kindest thing in my time of need. Now that I am past the baby making years, she provides me excellent care for all of my aging-related female health care needs. I am an RN in the recovery room where she does surgeries. She takes amazing care of her patients and they always have well controlled pain and good outcomes. She is truly a one of a kind physician. Thank you Dr Gibbons!

Dr. Gibbons was fabulous for two of my pregnancies and after my second one I had issues with placenta acretta and she came immediately to care of me in the emergency room and took me into surgery and saved my life. I will be forever grateful for her care. She’s an excellent physician.

I wait in the waiting room for over an hour just to be called back to the exam room and wait for another hour before she makes it to the room. She will not answer questions she talks over her patients she acts like her time is too valuable for her to be bothered by you. Had to have an emergency C-section after she told me I couldn't have one after 24 hours of labor. She has terrible bedside manner and doesn't explain anything to her patients. She never checked my hemoglobin is after I hemorrhaged and I had to go to the emergency room immediately after being discharged from the hospital to have an emergency blood transfusion.

would wait over an hour and a half for every appointment all the way through my pregnancy. That was just in the waiting room when you get to the exam room you sit there for another hour before she comes in and refuses to talk to you for more than 3 minutes and leaves. I hemorrhage during my c-section and she never told me. I also needed a blood transfusion and did not know that until I'd been released from the hospital and back to the emergency room because something wasn't right. This woman literally almost killed me.

45 minutes wait before being called back, asked the usual medical history questions, given a paper gown, told to undress, that the doctor would be right in. 1.5 hr later she came in, told me that it might take a bit longer, did I want to reschedule. I took off work for this appointment, and it wasnt easy to get, so I told her I wanted to be seen today. She shrugged her shoulders, said it would be a "bit longer".

I really don’t feel like Dr. Gibbons cares about her patients. My first visit with her I had to wait for 2 hours in the waiting room. Then I got brought back and Dr. Gibbons introduced herself, told me to put on the gown, and said she would be right back. She then left for A FULL HOUR and I was just sitting there naked waiting for her. Finally she came back and said she had “forgotten about me.” How does that happen?!

I was taken care of by Dr Gibbons and her staff with quality care . Dr Gibbons is very thorough in explaining the details of a procedure. I am impressed with her knowledge and skill. I felt comfortable after meeting in her office and I agreed to have her perform a total Hysterectomy. After surgery I was amazed at how well I felt. When Dr Gibbons did her post op rounds she again made me feel like I was the only patient she had to see. I am an RN . This kind of care is exceptional!

Dr. Gibbons has been my doctor for many years. Like most successful doctors, she is busy, but always takes plenty of time with me & answers of my questions. She performed a total hysterectomy on me in December 2016, which was a total success! I have complete trust in her as my OB/GYN.
