Nope, Nope, Nope.
For many months she was courteous and nice. I really liked her. But then later she actually laughed at me, and mocked me. I was in utter shock. And she also put me on 400mg of progesterone without EVER testing me. My progesterone now is 20 times the normal limit. And she also now won't take insurance at all. She is just not worth it.

Practice doesn't know effective communication
Based on my experience, this practice apparently does not know about fair process or due process. Doesn't know how to handle conflict effectively, communicate across differences, and work through issues in an open, direct and honest way. Would not recommend for this reason.

Pleasant and caring doctor but for a routine physical, they drew about 15 tubes of blood and the insurance was charged over $3000. Seems like a very unusual practice to do that for an annual checkup.

Dr. McGregor and Dr. Will Pendergraft may well be good doctors: unfortunately, their office is so poorly run that nothing happens as it should, and Dr. McGregor hides behind her staff, abdicating her reponsibilities. After spending two weeks waiting for a medication reply (and spending Christmas day in bed), I gave up on this practice, although I did make an appointment for a video visit with Dr. Pendergraft, hoping he might be more efficient: I sat at my computer waiting for him to appear at the assigned time, having followed all the directions for the call. He never appeared and I was accused of missing the appointment. That was it for me. This practice will never achieve excellence if they don't start working more responsibly to help their patients.

Great physician and practice! Knows how to expertly combine traditional medical science with complementary approaches. I highly value her knowledge and expertise. There are very few practices like this around.

If I could leave a NO star review, I would. I am extremely dissatisfied by Dr. Macgregor's analysis and recommendations for my care by this practice. When I saw Anna Kate in March, she told me to take high-dose Vit C. After receiving a portal message from Dr. M after my visit with her, with advice to take iron supplements, I researched my symptoms myself and came across Hemochromatosis. It's a good thing I listened to my intuition and did not take the iron supplements she advised! Turns out the Vit C made me absorb even more iron than I already was, as shown by the bloodwork Dr. M supposedly reviewed. I went to a hematologist who Dx'd me with Hereditary Hemochromatosis/Compound Heterozygote. I overload iron because of HH - I had to have a phlebotomy to regulate my iron! Turns out ALL my symptoms were related to my iron overload and Dr. M recommended that I supplement with iron! I am extremely angry paying $400 for that visit when I discovered the real issue myself. I expected WAY more

Doctor is good, in my medically inexpert opinion. Her staff is a problem. Do not assume that E-mails you send will be answered. Do not expect any action or correct action from them. Find out who they need to contact and contact them yourself when looking for information or an appointment with a provider. Do not assume information provided you by them is correct. I have informed her about these problems. I would have given 4 or 5 stars to Dr. McGregor herself, but I'm giving 3 stars because of her staff. I'm still her patient because I think she is good. I'm following my suggestions above religiously, but I wish the office was responsive.

Dr. Julie is one of the most compassionate and warm people I know. She listens to you... and is always cheerful and happy to see you. If there were 6 starts. I'd give her 6 starts.

Do not waste your time here. Waited an hour after appointment time - treated as though thats normal. Waited 18 days for the doctor to set up a blood lab. Waited 10 days for pharmacist to leave a message saying she just finally talked to the doctor (who is “swamped”). Told that I have to go pick from that particular pharmacy in order to find out what my scrip is even for. Unprofessional and unpleasant conversation with business manager. Lack of attention to important patient details.

Poor communication and unprofessional. Extremely lengthy wait. I was early for a 11:00 am appt, put in a room at 11:15 and left there for 45 minutes with no communication. Finally told them I had to leave. No initial apology and did not offer to re-schedule my appt. After email communication, they apologized but said they didn't realize i wanted to re-schedule. What???
