Dr. Julie Ward, DO

Dr. Ward is incredible. We have taken all three of our kids to Dr. Ward and I cannot say enough good things about her. She is very compassionate and always takes time to answer any questions we may have. Our kids adore her.

We have seen Dr Ward for the past 13 years and she is so kind and makes my Sons feel so comfortable when they go into see her. We dread the day when they will have to leave Interlachen and move to a family practitioner.

Dr. Ward is very patient and takes the time to make sure my child is comfortable at the doctors office. She never makes you feel rushed and answered all of the questions I had. She even took the time to listen to my daughters stuffed animal with the stethoscope to make her feel at ease. I recommend Dr. Ward to everyone I know.

We moved here from Virginia and I asked my neighbors for suggestions for Pediatricians in the area and Dr, Wards name was mentioned multiple times. I called to schedule an appointment and the person scheduling the appointment was so polite and helpful. My Son is scared to death of Doctors so I was a little concerned having to take him to a new Doctor. During his check up Dr. Ward was so sweet to him and took time to ask him about school and what he enjoyed doing which made him feel a little more at ease. She even let him listen to his heart through her stethoscope. When it came time for him to get his shot she explained exactly what they were going to do and put a cream on the area to numb it to help minimize the sting. He did great during the entire appointment (even during the shot). I absolutely love Dr. Ward and Interlachen Pediatrics.

The doctor did not ask any screening questions (feeding, stooling, urinating, babyproofing, development, or other general questions) during the well child check. And as a side note, she only looked in one ear and not the other during the exam. I felt she did not listen to me and that the visit was not thorough and did not allow for questions/riskreduction. I would not recommend her to anyone.
