Julie Pilitsis was not truthful or forthcoming about a surgery that she performed on me. She did not tell me that she was in over her head and should have closed me up or gotten someone more qualified to intervene. She caused permanent nerve damage and chronic pain. Her solution then was to implant a pain stimulator near my spine. I sought a second opinion in NYC and was told that if I had wires anywhere near my spine with the damage that had been done I would hav been permanently disabled,

Dr Pilitsis placed the first DBS for OCD and panic disorder in my daughter. She follows her patients closely and knows them well. She explained all the risks but my daughter felt she had no choices left. Dr Pilitsis and her team are excellent. She gave my daughter a chance to live and be happy.

Had a failed back surgery under Dr. Pilitsis' care and was left virtually crippled. Had a revision surgery at NYC Hospital for Special Surgery so they could repair the damage Julie Pilitsis did. Still suffer from chronic pain and nerve damage due to the failed surgery under DR. Pilitsis' care.
