Dr. Julie Maughan, MD

Pros: you can get in relatively quick! Cons: the pro comes at a significant cost. You will be treated like an inconvenience and a one size fits all patient. You will get maybe 5 minutes of her time and if you ask a question about a different skin issue other than the reason you are there, you will be told that will require another appointment. My issue was acne because of how dry my skin was in the winter, her response was to use her 6 step products that will dry your skin out even more than before and after using for 2 months will not make a difference. It seems as though she forgot the oath she took when becoming a physician because my experience was being brought in and out like cattle and spending zero time actually speaking to me about the issue I was experiencing. Save your time and money and wait for a dermatologist that actually cares about your concerns and will come up with an individualized plan to help you with your needs. I literally cried after my experience with her.

Dr. MAUGHN IS AMAZING. SHE IS THOUGHTFUL, CARING AND REALLY LISTENS TO OUR CONCERNS. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMEND.

I have been looking for a decent Dermatologist since I moved here 18 years ago, and I have finally found one. She listened to all of my concerns and addressed them. I’ve seen a few other Dermatologists in the past, but they never seemed to want to give me the thorough exam I wanted, and was used to receiving. I highly recommend her, and am so happy someone referred her to me !

Ask yourself if you could go see a doctor that disrespects her staff in front of patients. When I told her that I knew what helped my skin problem, she rolled her eyes. She is so rude and you could cut the tension in the room with a knife. I can't believe she thinks that she is a professional. I would never recommend her to ANYONE, especially those I care about!

I was just in for my annual skin check. I complimented the Julie on her skin and instead of saying thank you, she said, "I know right?" She is superficial, her bedside manner is a joke, her staff is rude and I could hear them laughing about another patient, I waited 50minutes for my appointment before I was taken back and then sat in the room undressed for another 30mins. She wouldn't address more than one problem and wanted me to come back for something she could have easily answered. Horrible!

Dr. Julie Maughn is very thorough during treatments. She explains the condition and treatment in a very understandable way. The staff is very efficient and make you feel comfortable during your visit.

My appointment was at 10:15am and I was on my way out at 10:45. She was very friendly as she was examining me. I would recommend Wasatch Dermatology to anybody that needs a dermatologist.

She is very friendly and good at what she does. The staff was helpful and friendly. They were easy to work with when I needed to reschedule my appointment and were able to squeeze me in a week earlier than originally planned. I will defiantly go back.
