Dr. Julie Jensen, MD

It does not matter if your appointment is first thing in the morning. Dr. Jensen is 45 minutes to over an hour late to every single appointment I have had over the last 5 years. The office staff is not helpful in addressing wait times and appointments have been cancelled with no notice and no rescheduling. This clinical practice is a scheduling nightmare.

I stopped seeing Dr. Jensen two years ago because she was dismissive of my medical issues. I had been experiencing severe cramping, nausea, and fever off and on for a few years. She asked minimal questions and said I need to drink more water. No reproductive testing or referral, not a single piece of medical advice. I’ve seen many doctors since then and learned my body stopped producing enzymes and I can’t even eat a carrot without extreme pain. She is terrible. Do yourself a favor and see someone that respects their patients.

Dr. Jensen may have a lot of experience but her patient care is terrible. She is rude and condescending in conversation. I was in tears following several OB appointments from her comments. I only stayed with the practice for the other doctors that I loved. She knew my newborn son in the nicu needed a circ prior to us being discharged. She was on call that weekend and would not answer the pages from nursing staff. When she finally showed up 4.5 hours later, she was in shorts & flip flops. She didn't talk to us at all. Did not come back in to tell us how the procedure went - she just left to get back to her weekend. Her lack of care and poor work has now resulted in my son having to have a circ revision at 2yo. This procedure would be unnecessary if she had performed it correctly the first time. Tremendously disappointed in her lack of respect.

I have been seeing Dr. Jensen for 30 years (19 yrs old - today). She is the best Ob/Gyn around! I have recommended her to many, many people. She was my Gyn for the first 20 years. Then my Ob for many years after that during a few miscarriages, and a live birth C-section. She is extremely knowledgeable, kind, straight-forward, and gives incredible patient care. You are in good hands with Dr. Jensen!

Went some time back. Was talked down to in a rude manner and given personal advice rather than proper medical solutions. Truly terrible.

Horrible - absolutely terrible bedside manner, disrespectful, dismissive and completely rushed. I actually sat in my car and cried after my last appointment I was so upset by this “doctor”. Find another doctor, ANY other doctor if you don’t want to be made to feel awful.

UPDATE*** Julie Jensen responded to my original review on here and asked me to email them, again. I Emailed them - no response from Dupage Medical Group... again. I genuinely hope no one ever has to go through what I did while being in DOCTOR Jensen’s care.

Dr. Jensen Is very caring and Kind with a great bedside matter. She is very thorough and knowledgeable. I have been seeing her for over 20 years.

I love my GYN ..she is the kindest and always looking up for me...I wupdnt trade her for anything...she is that good...and I am planning for number 5 baby in 2020 by his grace...she is very brutally honest if anything wrong and get to want need to resolved...I am not sensitive or get offended by it...this is her job to get you aware...so her honesty is best I got from her...

Dr Jensen is awesome and very thorough! She is the one that detected a lump in my breast years ago. It was a lump that was undetectable by a mammogram! I will always trust her with my health concerns!

I would NOT recommend Dr. Jensen. Even though she has a ton of experience, her bedside manner is horrible. She discriminated, belittled and disrespected me for something that was not my fault. My post-partum experience was ruined because of how she treated me as a patient. I still think about it months later. The others doctors in her group are great, but because of her, I will not return.
