Love Dr. Galinato
Dr. Galinato is very personable, kind, and has a great sense of humor that helps make stressful doctor visits less stressful. She also is very knowledgeable, takes my concerns seriously and takes a logical step by step approach towards addressing those concerns, while being very respectful and responsive. I'm glad she's my primary care doctor.

Personable, effective, and efficient
Dr. Galinato has been my PCP at Oregon Medical Group for almost a year. I've had only routine checkups and minor issues (pap smear, UTI, routine blood work, etc.), but she seems professional, transparent, and gets back to me quickly with referrals/prescriptions/lab orders. Her recommendations seem in line with evidence-based medicine and have resolved my issues. OMG is generally well-run and the online portal is easy to use.

Telemedicine visit
I was pleased with my visit with dr. Galinato. It was a telemedicine visit. She answered all my questions. Made follow up recommendations and answers follow up questions. I may have made a higher review had the visit been an in person visit.

Dr. Galinato is not only horribly uninformed (she tried to tell me that ovarian cysts don’t cause pain...which numerous doctors, previous experience with multiple cysts, including one that hemorrhaged, has shown the exact opposite of). When calling to get set up with a primary care physician I was on the phone for nearly an hour giving my case history, as it is unfortunately complicated, and scheduling a physical and well women’s check up, explaining the presentation of my endometriosis and the symptoms of PCOS that I needed to get tested for. While the worker was incredibly nice, helpful, compassionate and overtly trying to do a good job by getting these notes in; Galinato obviously didn’t bother to read my chart, on top of being late, only spending a few minutes to talk to me, and not touching me or even giving anything resembling an exam. Instead she just invalidated me and gave judgmental responses. She shows no real compassion, care or empathy for her patients. Much less knowledge

She is in Oregon now. She is not interested in symptoms. She does not take good notes to refer to the next time. When something she recommends/prescribes doesn't work (which can happen to the best of doctors) she gets decidedly defensive and accusatory. I am now paying out of pocket for a doctor who is interested in symptoms and willing to learn new things. It's pricey but I am getting better. Finally, she will make you change to a prescription she prefers even if you are doing well on what y
