Unhappy Patient
This review comes two years after a foot surgery with Dr. Riley. My foot did not heal and was infected within a week. I was told that my body rejected the material used in the surgery, causing an infection. I had a large open wound that she was unable to treat, even as a wound doctor. My concerns with the infection were disregarded and it was written in my chart that my anxiety delayed the healing process. Sadly, it took six months and a new doctor to get it under control. I was berated when I asked for my records to get a second opinion on how my foot was healing. Now, after two years of pain, I am recovering from the same surgery, a second time. MRI confirmed the work that should have been done originally was not done to completion, and the same issues were still present going into this surgery. Thankfully, I found a wonderful surgeon elsewhere who did an excellent job and after just two months I am healing beautifully and without complication.
