Dr. Julia Bulkeley, MD

Dr. Bulkeley and her staff are simply amazing!!! My daughter broke her elbow and every person we came in contact with treated her like their own child!!! My daughter wasn't scared one bit going into her procedure, she told me she knew Dr. Bulkeley wouldn't let anyone hurt her! She has now healed completely and for that we are thankful however we are sad that we won't be seeing everyone at the office anymore. The office staff is one of the best we have encountered!!! They treated us like family

When my daughter broke her elbow joint, many told us that her arm would never hang right again. Dr. Bulkeley did such a fantastic surgery that, years later, you can never tell that anything happened to her. She was kind and communicated well with my daughter, never talking down to her. She's one of the top doctors I've ever encountered.

My Dad works with the Orthopedic Drs at Carilion, so when my daughter broke her leg at school he told me that Dr Bulkeley was the one that the other Drs send their kids and grand kids to. That was good enough for me, and I was more than happy with the care and attention that we received.

I have been taking my son to see her since she began practice at Carillon. He has club foot so we would go a couple times a year during normal times in his foot care history. She never forgot him and what he was about during those long months of seeing other patients and that says a lot to me personally! A Doctor/Surgeon that can do that... To hold a spot in her brain remembering his special quirks and high level energy to me that is something remarkable!
