Difficult to work with
Very difficult to work with. She does not actively follow up on test results and does not make sure to have all results before giving recommendations. Difficult communicating with her and her staff as well. Recommend going to another doctor who is more intentional and caring for their patient.

This doctor couldn't be bothered
After all of the scans, all of the tests, she didn't even make sure she had all of the results before the follow-up vist, much less review them. After I had to tell her where to find one of the results she expected me to go to another doctor and find the results of another test. I had been waiting for months and she couldn't even have one of the people working for her call the office of another doctor in the same department in the same building to get results of a test that she had ordered. It got better. She decided that my symptoms had been made worse as a side effect of another drug that had been prescribed for something else. She refused to believe me when I told her that there had been no noticeable difference, if there had been then the medicine would have been stopped. The results from the other doctor showed different results. Uncaring and incompetent

I’m the caretaker for my husband & the first & only visit we had with her was terrible. We saw her on video conference & had little feed back. My husband is a veteran with ptsd & tbi and she acted like she knew nothing about either. The appointment lasted about 5 minutes with no opportunity to ask questions even though his mri saw frontal lobe degeneration. She was rude & had no time for questions. See another doctor if you can!

First off I will start with she doesn't live in our state anymore and who can trust someone who isn't in the same room let alone the same state as you. second of all even if they are in your presence you apparently still cant trust them. MY ASSESMENT OF DR BIERNOT, she's a coward. I subjected my husband to another long drive to another neurologist, for her (or should I say her nurse said she said) hes to young and we cant afford any more in depth testing then a basic MRI.

A major tremor attack had nearly exhausted every muscle in my body when she walked in and said my mri is normal then started to leave. I asked what to do about the tremors and she said there is nothing wrong while watching me collapse as she left. My cousin asked for a wheelchair to get me back to the car. She said she'd send someone in with a disgusted look on her face. What a wonderful person.

I wouldn't recommend Dr. Biernot. She showed no understanding or compassion for my father who has early stage ALZ. She asked questions in front of him which embarrassed him. She had the attitude of "this person has ALZ so what can I do for him". My father didn't want to see her after two visits because she was so rude to him. I took him to another doctor and 3 days after his appt I received a call from Biernot's office saying they couldn't send his records to his new doctor. How convenient!

As husband's caregiver I go to appointments & each time left very upset-which she has seen but doesn't seem to care. She shook her finger at me at one appointment like I was a little child. She is unprofessional, has no compassion or concern for the family. We were 10 minutes late (I got lost and called office to tell them we were on the way) and she made us wait for 2 hours. I ended up walking out of her office in tears and she walked right by me later and said Nancy will be with you.

Dr. Beirnot spent well over an hour with my Mom on her first visit getting to know her and her level of dementia/Alzheimer's. She was very clear in explaining everything, and even took the time to repeating herself to my mom's husband who is hard of hearing. That was probably more frustrating, but she remained very professional. We learned more about Alzheimer's during that time, than with my mom's previous doctor (who prescribed a wrong med for the condition), or reading about it on-line.

I do NOT recommend! Worst experience ever had with any doctor. No warmth or compassion, and her nurse, Nancy, has no problem with arguing with you and with talking to you like a scolding mommy. But WORST thing is they refused to give me any detail about my MRI other than, normal for your age. In fact, the radiologist's report showed degeneration of white matter, which is composed of nerves and myelin, brain components which are necessary if you want your brain to REMAIN ALIVE. Stay away!

Dr. Biernot took more time to try to understand my situation and ask questions than any physician I've worked with. I've recommended her without hesitation.
