We have very bad experience with Dr Karlen who did two failed hip surgeries for my 3 years daughter. In April 2020 and March 2021. He didn’t tell us that the first surgery had failed and we confronted him about it in one visit after seeing the XRay results and discussed the surgery with his assistance that mentioned indirectly to us about the final outcome. He was not honest at all and did a very bad job but he blamed my daughter difficult medical conditions and said he will correct things in the very best way in next surgery that failed as well as soon as he removed the spica cast unfortunately.

I have seen Dr. Karlen since I was 7 years old. He is such a great doctor who is caring and always makes sure you understand your condition. He is always willing to answer all of your questions and concerns. He performed all of my surgeries and made sure everything went smoothly. He truly is the best doctor I could have asked for!

LOVE Dr. Karlen!!! We were switched last minute to him after being with 2 other ortho docs. What a blessing it ended up being. He is the BEST, along with his nurse, Amber. This was my daughters first major surgery and we were extremely nervous. He got us scheduled quickly and is the kindest most helpful doctor. He draws diagrams, explains things well and is always quick to return our calls! They are proactive in scheduling and making it easy for us to take care of multiple things in one visit.
