I only wanted her to see me since I did schedule every appt for my prenatal appointments. But everytime she threw me at someone else whom were always male and didnt want a male doctor. It was my first pregnancy and I have only seen her since I started my gynecology appts at 17 years old. My entire family saw her. So when it.came down to having my baby, she explained that he was getting too big and needed a c section and I didnt want one but said it was unsafe to wait, I said no. She said we was must've had the due date wrong so she update the due date 2 weeks and when he was "a week late" she insisted on a csection again. I again said no. She pushed pitocin for 48 hours and no baby but serious contractions. Broke my water and pushed an epidural I didn't want and took 3 viles and nothing and was forced a csection because they broke my water. He was 7lbs 6oz at birth. Ended up with MRSA and Strep in my csection with a wound vac so no carrying my newborn for months.

I went to Dr. Hidalgo on the recommendation of my PCP, after years of unexplained pain. After a few exams and ultrasounds, I asked her about the possibility of endometriosis and a hysterectomy. She disregarded my opinion, and told me that I didn't want to be a 36 year old woman in a 50 year old body. I went to a urologist and pelvic pain specialist who believed my pain, got the hysterectomy, and the pathology report supported my hunch - it was endometriosis. She should have listened to me!

Receptionist is extremely rude, made appointment with Dr.Hidalgo and was seen by someone else. Submitted claim to insurance wrong and no one there to help straighten it out. Dealing with this practice has been difficult, I will be going elsewhere, not worth it

Dr Hidalgo is nice, but dealing with her receptionist can go either way. I don't feel she respects my privacy, trying to get information from her is difficult or confusing. I'm seriously considering changing doctors.

Both times we went to this doctor we waited an hour after our appointment time to be seen. We tried on three occasions to get a prescription (for prenatal vitamins) called in to our pharmacy and were finally told (very rudely) to just give it a minute, we'll get to it. Twice we have called this week and gotten their answering machine which states Our office hours are 8am to 4pm, yet they were closed at 3pm. Completely unacceptable. We will never return to this doctor's office.
