Go elsewhere for your needs
Ran 30 minutes behind, which I understand, but clearly tried to make up that time with me. I have been having extreme amount of back pain. Doctor rushed visit and didnt listen to patient. Actually surprised this woman is even a doctor! If I could leave less than 1 star I would. I am going to totally leave Orthopedic Specialty Group because of this quack!

Not what I'd hoped
I had an appointment with Dr. Gorelick for a minor issue (an old spinal fracture that actually was detected on a CT chest scan). While it seems like she knows her stuff, and maybe she was having a rushed day, her manner was brusque and felt dismissive. I know doctors are under a lot of pressure these days and often overbooked with patients. I left feeling like I got the info I was looking (which is good), but her lack of listening skills/humanity made the experience itself a disappointing one.

Excellent Doctor!
Dr. Gorelick just performed a spinal fusion on my back. She visited me before and after surgery. She could tell that I was scared before my surgery and reassured me that everything would be OK. Today, I went in for my 10 week follow up. She showed me before and after x-rays and explained exactly what she had done. I am so glad that I found her. I'm back to playing drums again! I can't recommend her enough!

Wise Doctor
I’m thankful for Dr. Gorelick, her observations were elucidating and offered a way through my health predicament. She’s very caring and explained things beautifully. I always have a lot of questions and she fielded them quite satisfactorily. She also advocated for a specialist who is very smart and thorough. I’d recommend Dr. Gorelick to anyone, she was there for me and guided me to the right path. Thank you, Dr. Gorelick!

I had an appointment with Dr. Gorelick and she would not make the time to see me. She sent in an assistant. The assistant told me that I either had inoperable cancer or MS and there was nothing she could do for me so she was not going to meet with me----shocking and neither of which turned out to be true. It was a truly traumatic experience and one I do not wish on anyone.

Dr Gorelick is one of the finest surgeons. Kind considerate compassionate. She performed cervical surgery on my neck in 2018 and 2020. After experiencing symptoms she put me back together. I’m very grateful.

My chiropractor sent me for an MRI because I was having horrific pain in my right hip. I contacted Dr. Gorelick's office and had the MRI sent to her. The office got back to me within 1-2 hours and set up an appointment within a week. I had a large intradural tumor and required surgery. Dr. Gorelick was attentive, asked appropriate questions, gave reassurance and was incredibly respectful, knowing that I was a nurse. My surgery went well, she was able to remove the tumor and I have absolutely no pain. I am incredibly grateful for the care I received. I'd recommend her to anyone in need of a neurosurgeon

In 2007 I experienced extrutiating back pain. One of the doctors I saw was Judith Gorelick. She looked at my MRI and said "I must have some underlying problem" ,making me feel like I was crazy. I was finally diagnosed with 2 herniated discs!!! I ended up having multiple surgeries to remove discs and fusion. I now have a neurostimulator. Dr. Gorelick failed me miserably! If she didn't know what was wrong, that's fine. However to tell me "I must have some underlying problem" was WRONG!

Dr.Gorelick in my opinion is either very dishonest, or loosing her mind! At first visit I made it known to her that my LTD will cut off my $ if I can be a wal mart greeter. Dr Gorelick told me "You cannot do that job", You cannot stand for that period of time". I have severe spinal stenosis L1,L2,L3,L4,L5,S1. I reminded her of her past statement as I needed my LTD for filled out. She said "I never said that". I . "I WILL NOT FILL OUT YOUR FORMS"! Very condescending.,inconsiderate, uncaring!!

In Oct 2016 I had a laminectomy and fusion of my T10-11. I spend 3 days in Griffin Hospital. I was very happy with my surgical and hospital experiences. The surgery was to correct a worsening issue I was having with my right leg. I would highly recommend Dr. Gorelick.

Do not go to this doctor. She is a complete joke! My sister and I took our mother here for a really bad pinched nerve and bone spur in her cervical spine. She degraded my mother in front of us, asking her if she drinks or does drugs and then tried to say my mom had a mental issue. So we went and seen another doctor and turns out she needed surgery. C4, C5, C6, and C7 had to be fused. She is finally in recovery no thanks to this woman who calls herself a doctor

I can not say enough about Dr. Gorelick and her staff. I had severe sciatic pain and had had significant damage in my upper spine from previous accident. She ended up doing surgery on both areas in 2 separate operation with tremendous success. I am now pain free and without the limitations I had previously. Prior to each surgery she answered all of my questions including showing models of exactly what was going to happen. I could not have been more at ease with her and her abilities.
