Dr Romero is very caring and takes his time
The office functions as an assembly line from check in to vision check, photos and then to the physician. The wait time is manageable. Everyone is courteous.

Excellent 2st time experience
Any time you deal with your eyes any issue is worrisome. I have to say Dr. Romero really made me feel relaxed and confident by taking the time to clearly and directly explain what the problem is, why it is happening and how treatment should proceed... and he's a soft touch with a needle even when it's in your eye!

Dr. Romero was really great all-around
Dr. Romero was really great all-around. He was very patient and took the time to answer all my questions and I never felt rushed whatsoever during my visit with him which I appreciate a lot. Overall my visit to VitreoRetinal Consultants was about 30min longer than my last checkup(2 hours vs. 90min in-and-out) but there were a lot of patients in that day and the nurses told me that Dr. Romero had to scramble to schedule en emergency surgery early the next day for a different patient so there were some contingent circumstances that I do not hold Dr. Romero responsible for. I will certainly go to Dr. Romero again for my future ophthalmologist checkups.
