Dr. Juan Maldonado Sr, MD

I have been a patient with Dr. Maldonado for many years. He and his staff are kind and understanding. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a family doctor.

I have been going for years now and I have never felt rushed, he always explains what’s going on with me and the plans to help me. I see many doctors and he’s the best one!

The front desk hardly answers the phone. I've tried to schedule an appointment for 2 weeks and nothing, not even an option for voicemail comes up. When one of the front desk employees finally answered yesterday I said "oh, awesome you answered! I was wondering if you guys changed your number or closed your office." At that moment the lady was very condescending and disrespectful. Stating that they ALWAYS answer. When I told her that was not the case she said I must have had the wrong number (which I had the right one) and just kept telling me I was wrong. Instead of de escalating the situation she took the latter, pretty much saying I'm a liar in my perception. Throughout the conversation I was respectful and courteous but she wasn't. I've had similar problems before with the front desk here but this is ridiculous. Dr. Maldonado is a good doctor though, but it's a shame his employees don't care about how they talk to or treat his patients. DO NOT COME HERE!!!

Unlike some doctor's offices, the staff at Dr. M's office knows me by name, tries diligently to get me in as soon as possible and follows up whenever needed. Dr. M is a fantastic listener and never dismisses any concerns I may have. Whenever he has had to make referrals, he has made sure to refer me to doctors that have the same values in patient care.

Very excellent doctor very hands on and detailed and friendly.
