didn’t wait for my lidocane to kick in
Telehealth
i saw him a year ago for my batholins cysts. in the shafter women’s clinic. he was super late and i wonder if he rushed and forgot. he did not wait for the lidocaine to kick in after administering it. he immediately cut me open, and I felt everything. he didn’t even give me any pain meds. he just told me to take over the counter ibuprofen after cauterizing my wound multiple times with silver nitrate because it wouldn’t stop bleeding. He didn’t even send me home aftercare instructions. I was so dissociated and zoned out from everything that I didn’t even remember the instructions. Some papers would’ve been nice. I ended up going to urgent care because my wound got infected.

Awful Experience
At 36 weeks pregnant, I had to be seen with Dr. Lopez due to my regular obgyn not being available. Within minutes of introducing himself, he insulted my weight and called me lazy for not working out regularly ( my regular obgyn insisted I work out occasionally and take it easy due to me bleeding and having a scare early on in the pregnancy ). Dr. Lopez may have patients that admire him but he surely didn't show that "nice and caring" side of him upon our first interaction. Shortly after that visit, I switched to a private doctor office and made sure to deliver at a hospital that Dr. Lopez wasn't affiliated with.
