I had a virtual visit because of the Covid 19 issues. I have always enjoyed my appointments with Dr. Latorre and his office staff. Being a C 5/6 quad for 16 years and understanding that there is really nothing to do to make my life easier. It makes my appointments fairly simple. The one thing I wish I could get, being in my situation is, information about new wheelchairs and transferring equipment. Also, who the lobbyist are, that are fighting for funding, of new procedures and products quads need for our insurance companies to pay for with my tax money! I’m a business owner and pay for many of the devices I need to stay “healthy and strong”! Insurance should help with the purchase of these devices. I have talked to my rep and senators. Without any luck! Seems like only the lobbyists are able to grease the pockets of our politicians to get things done. Thank you, Alan Adams

Dr Latorre is an absolute life saver! He takes the time to learn his patients is very attentive to their needs. Dr. Latorre holds actual conversations with you to create a plan that is patient driven. He will absolutely offer his expert opinions and suggestions but never pushes his patients toward any one outcome but rather works together to achieve success. The only down side is that he is so popular that it is difficult to get an appointment with him. HOWEVER, he will work with and support his patients even without an appointment through phone calls etc... His staff is also amazing and their response time to questions/concerns left via answering machine is very fast, usually within the same day. He has an excellent office manager, Donna, who works to make sure everything runs smoothly. We trust Dr. Latorre completely and feel blessed to be able to call him our doctor.

Dr. Latorre is great, As an amputee, having a doctor who understands that, and the challenges that go with it is of great importance. He has been able to reduce my perspiration in the prosthetic socket significantly, what a difference!

Dr. Latorre and his staff are very knowledgeable and truly concern about your needs. I came to him when no one could diagnose my condition. He started treating me and referred me to get therapy at their facility, I am now close to walking again and so very thankful that I found them. They take the time to go the extra mile and most of all they listen, not just make assumptions on the best treatments for patients.

Dr. Latorre is a terrific doctor and person. I was in St. David's on 32nd street for about 6 months after my injury in 2012. Dr. Latorre and the St. David's staff were great. Dr. Latorre shows genuine concern and was always very thorough. He actually listens to your questions and concerns and has answers. My follow-ups at his Austin Rehabilitation Specialists are just as good. The staff are polite, courteous and efficient. I've never had a long wait for my appointments. Highly recommend!!

Dr. Latorre has always been there when I needed him. He is without a doubt the most respectful and courteous Dr. I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. He listens to your concerns and problems and goes out of his way to solve whatever issues you might be having. He sets the bar very high and that's the way it should be. The staff there is just as amazing as Dr. Latorre himself. If you call needing to see Dr. Latorre they will find a way to fit you in because they actually care.
