Egotistical
Did surgery on my son and did a really good job. I think he is a talented surgeon. However his after care in the NICU changed daily even though nothing changed with my son. Dr. Camps would say he was doing one thing one day and then the next he would change his mind and say another without any explanation for why. When my son needed a second surgery, we said we wanted a second opinion because it was a very complex surgery, so he told us we were doing a disservice to him to not let him do the subsequent surgery and then said he had nothing else to do for us and essentially discharged my son from his practice. Turns out that what he wanted to do was not evidence based and was not what the experts in that type of surgery would do

Dr. Camps saved my son's life. No one else could figure out what was wrong with him but dr camps figured it out operated on him and he is fine now. Great pediatric surgeon.

We’ve been seeing Dr. Camps for many years. He’s always been so wonderful, and explains things very well. Very capable surgeon. Would recommend!
