Excellent Doctor!
I am trying to locate where Dr. Rubin is currently practicing. She was my Gyn since I was a teen and hoping she is still practicing to deliver my first baby.

She has been my OBGYN for 14 years and she is just amazing. She delivered my 3 children and I am still seeing her, my youngest is 6 years old. She is kind, sweet, patient, professional and very knowledgeable. I will not change her!!

Dr. Rubin was the most amiable doctor and human. She really took her time to be sure, using great analogies, that I was educated and really understood. Most doctors rush you in and out but not her. She answered all of my questions and was beyond knowledgeable. There are not many doctors like and I am so happy I found her. The office staff was kind and friendly. What an excellent experience.

Dr. Rubin was one of my favorite doctors to see in the practice, although they're all great. She's witty, caring and keeps it real. She always answered my many, many questions and gave me the time I needed each time I saw her. I never felt rushed through the appointment. Even if there was a longer wait time (which is to be expected, it is a doctors office) she was always apologetic. Dr. Rubin delivered both of my children and I was so happy to have her there. I would definitely recommend her.

Waited almost two hours to see her and she has an attitude. Is my time not valuable? Shes overbooked. Its all about he money. Found myself a WONDERFUL OBGYN now. One whos sincere and dosent have a snotty attitude.

Condescending, fragile ego-not a nice person in my opinion. She discharged my wife from her practice in the middle of a difficult high-risk pregnancy. Why? The practice made an error at the front desk, my exhausted, nauseous wife got upset and instead of just apologizing for their mistake and moving on, she defended the error and scolded my wife. When I wrote a letter of complaint on my wife's behalf, she discharged us from her care (blessing in disguise). That's who might deliver your baby.

Dr. Rubin's energetic and bubbly personality seems great at first, but she lacks true empathy and concern. After long waits in the waiting room (20+ minutes), I have had even longer waits in the exam room (at least 30 minutes every visit!). The physicians at this practice seem to follow standard protocols for every pregnancy instead of tailoring their care to the individual. I was a patient here for over 5 years and recently left for a physician who looks at the patient, not a computer.

My experience was similar to other reviewers: professional and uneventful the first time, mostly because no issues came up, and the second time her conduct was obstinate, condescending, and unresponsive to my needs as a patient after poor communication on the part of the front desk caused a problem. She puts the onus on patients to make up for the failings of her staff rather than provide better direction to the people she manages. When confronted with this, she went on a power trip.

I was very confused by Dr. Rubin. One visit she's super nice, the next one is totally opposite. I went to her for my 6 weeks postpartum visit and complained about my stomach being tender and bit big. She shrugged it off and said it was fat. I was only 117 lbs or so. I was embarrassed by her comment. Later on, I was diagnosed with Diastasis recti. As an OBGYN, I would expect her to know about Diastasis recti.

Dr. Rubin acts inappropriately in that she acts like your best friend & then is not equipped to handle much more than a routine pregnancy. Once things get difficult, she is quick to blame the patient while passing the responsibility onto someone else. After doing so, it is as if she is nowhere to be found as there is no continuity of care or follow up. If you have a routine OB/GYN issue, she is probably well equipped to handle you but please choose one of the other docs for anything more .
