Competent and kind
Dr. Wong takes time to listen, discusses alternative treatment options including insurance costs and has a common sense approach to psychiatry which is sorely lacking among many psychiatric professionals. Dr. Wong accepts Medicaid which is also an anomaly among psychiatric practitioners. His office staff positively reflects his leadership.

Dr. Wang is very empathetic as my medicating MD. He treats me with the respect of an MD talking to a retired RN. He understands psych issues quickly. He immediately understands problems. Dr. Wang offices at Oak Street in north Dallas. I am very particular about the MDs I see. His office staff are very personable. Many times I have waited less than 10minutes to see the medical asset. And less than 10 minutes to see him.

Patient for over two years
I have found Dr. Wang to be a rare and valuable kind of doctor. He really listens and asks questions. He never rushes me and encourages me to finish a thought instead of interruoting all the time. He worked with me on medication and hospitalizations. So it wasn't like his word was law or I should find a new doctor, if I had a preference he recieved that and we discussed why or why not that preference was feasable. I think he's a great psychiatrist and a really kind person. Additionally, I have a diagnosis that is contraversial. Dr. Wang isn't in agreement with me on that mental health issue being valid, as a whole. But, suprisingly, it didn't much affect our relationship. We agreed that whatever name you call something, doesn't change the experience. So I focused on explaining my experience and he addressed medication for that experience and we never needed a conflict or anything about my diagnosis.

I've nothing positive to say, about Dr. Wang! Due to the mere fact, he intentionally refused, and fail to address, and deal with the real elephant in the room! Nobody on this planet, can make a patient; be mentally ill, and force them to become drug dependant! Dr. Wang main purpose, to agree to see me: was to enforce, prescribed, and encourage this patient, to engaged in drugs type treatment! Knowing it would or turn out, on a sour note, and eventually to my death!
