Dr. Joshua Tarpley, MD

I needed to reschedule a physical and the first appointment available was in 10 months. I came to get forms for labs after 10 months, and the front desk staff informed me that Dr. Tarpley had forgotten to upload them into the system, so I would need to get them after my physical. What is the point of coming to a physical that I waited almost one year for when there will not be any lab results to review? The office staff was extremely rude and unapologetic - this is a customer service business and they lack any sort of bedside manner.

Dr. Tarpley is the quintessential PCP. He is a great communicator and listener who respects patients. As someone who is proactive about their health, I appreciate that he explains lab results thoroughly and lets you know when and if there is cause for concern. I never feel rushed in our visits. I feel like I'm in good hands with Dr. T.

A+ knowledge and bedside manner. I usually dislike seeing MDs, as I often feel condescended to. Dr. Tarpley is kind and patient, a true gem of a person and a fantastic clinician. He helped me make several decision about my health that left me feeling cared for as well as giving me an active voice in my own healthcare choices. He helped point me in the right direction as well as provided graceful motivation to get to where I need to be. Highly, highly recommended.

Dr Tarpley is THE best primary care physician I have ever had. He cares about me as a person and truly takes time to get to know me. He is comprehensive and looks beyond the obvious. He explains things to me without being patronizing or pretentious. My entire adult family has come under Dr Tarpley’s care. He is just a nice person - which should be, but isn’t always commonplace.
